Photo Hunt Quest. "The Winged Orator."
When I look at this photo I can't help but think, "There's one in every family!" One vociferous individual paired with a quiet one will usually represent a workable relationship in my opinion. One talks. The other listens. The problem occurs when both partners require equal say and then neither person is heard.
My question is this. "Is the talker in this photo the male or the female?" I daresay the answer will depend entriely on the sex of the person I am asking. (lol)
Is this Winged Orator Mr. or Mrs. Pelican? What do you think?

Yeah......I think the talker is the male and the female has ear plugs in as she enjoys her surroundings, oblivious of the passionate speech boomimg out beside her @redheadpei (lol) I'm glad you enjoyed this post my friend.
Nice shot! I like the way they sound. Pelicans are fun to see out in the wild :-)
Can't help with the gender identification, though. During mating season one (males?) grow a big bump on their noses, which might help. Off season, though, they look the same to me!

It will help a little with determining the males from the females perhaps. My question was relating more to the talker. Does the average male talk more than their female counterparts?????
