The Seven Day B&W 📷 Challenge - Day #5 - One man's trash
The canvas of Rock and Roll
The texture of trodden down dirt and debris cakes this large "speech bubble" sticker into hues of brown and ochre. Red, blue and black pen strokes give the whole drawing a "rough yet punky" feeling. An orange guitar and a golden beer happily sing songs of Rock and Roll in a reflection of the beating afternoon sun.
Of course you can see none of this because it's all in black and white.
I took this at the Nova Rock music festival in 2012. There was a drawing contest so naturally I had to enter. The speech bubble I found on the floor thinking that it personifies the whole festival accurately. Furthermore I used only the crappy colored pencils and pens that they had available. I actually ended up winning third prize in the contest with this winning some Billy Talent tickets in the process. Cool!
This is my fifth entry into my second round of the #sevendaybnwchallenge. Let's give this another shot :)

Hint of the Day:
When going to the rock festival make sure you do the following three things. :)
- Stay Hydrated
- Bring Sunscreen/Rain Protection
- Rock Out
