abandoned object - why do we love them (i talk about myself and some part of them too). why these half-destroyed houses, vehicles, plans and other manmade things are very interesting for exploring and photographing. do we think and connect ourselves cos in some part of our twisted by the idea "we will live forever" mind, somewhere in the deep inside, we all know that will be end and we are curious and scary like little kids to look out of our BEING.
ok - never mind - finally it's just an image of the old car. and i know what a brand is this one :-)

Agreed... I do love to photograph abandoned things too. And agree when you say we are too attached to things, as we would be able to carry them with us forever. I'm now practicing detachment. Maybe because I am in the second part o my life and value more the intangible than the tangible. We are what we are and not what we have. Well done, Victor! Great photo!

i loved this detachment explain. actually I'm not dragging with myself nothing old or nostalgic. the most old things i have - these film cameras i use every day and i just purchased them a few years ago - so i love them as a great gear not as a memories :-)

Thanks, Victor, regarding photography gear, I guess it's the only one where I'm still attached ;)... I'm always trying to (have money) to buy some more :D... But always with self-control! Thanks for your reply :)

haha ! self control is important

It is ;) :D

I am following him. Lol! He's awesome!!

I love the photos that are taken from the ground, it has a mystery as we rarely see things nor look at them from this place...this is always interesting to momentarily leave our point of view and adopt another one, both literally and figuratively, for it helps us usually make some great discoveries... ;-)

Love this photo that has been indicated to me by @pixresteemer so to say ^_^

I followed @pixresteemer to this, even though I follow you. Congratulations on the shout out!

Abandoned things always peak my curiosity. Why was it abandoned and by who?

thank you again Denise !
i really don't know why it was covered by the dry foliage of the huge eucalyptuses growing on the edges of this closed (again abandoned ?) sports ground. and even it was surrounded by bars i found some place to enter inside and to spend some time there taking a series with images. i will post them later - to say what the history of this place and car i can't.
