Jurassic Plastic Exhibition @ Sydney, Australia - 侏羅紀塑膠展覽 @ 悉尼, 澳洲

Hi Steemians,

Over the weekend we visited a free exhibition in the city called Jurassic Plastic. In Australia, we don’t recycle toys so all toys thrown away goes to landfill. Therefore, a Japanese artist have created an exhibition making dinosaur with old toys. Most of his toys were bought over from Japan and are mainly toys from McDonald happy meal.

在這個週末，我們去了一個免費展覽叫 Jurassic Plastic. 在澳洲，我們不會回收玩具所以大部分都會檔垃圾不要的。所以這個原因，有一名日本藝術家開了一個展覽用不要的舊玩具做成恐龍。大部分的玩具是他從日本帶過來的而是他在這16年來在 McDonald 兒童餐收藏的玩具。

The exhibition was held at the Town Hall in the city.

這個展覽是在悉尼市政廳舉行

Just by looking at the poster, we can tell its going to be an amazing exhibition.

只是看海報都已經知道這個展覽會很棒的

As we were going in, you can see a message from the artist why he decided to use toys as a topic

進去之前，我們可以看到這位藝術家介紹為什麼要做這個展覽

Here were are - thousands of toys in front of us! There were many dinosaurs made from the toys by the artist. They look super cute.

進去之後，看到很多玩具在我們面前。還有一些用玩具做成恐龍。

Just look at the details of each artwork.

你們看，手工真是很仔細

Most of the toys on display cannot be touched but there are plenty for kids to play in the centre and around the tables. The kids were so excited!

大部分的玩具都不可以碰的但小朋友可以玩在中間和桌子上的玩具

Do you recognise any of these toys? I actually have a few of them myself at home.
