Nearby to the Quaint village of Golub-Dobrzyń, Poland, the local inhabitants had once gathered around this relic and enjoyed live music together. However, as time went on, the site became unused and became home instead to weeds, broken glass and graffiti.

I used Speedlights to the left and right of the frame to illiuminate the bandshell. For the second picture, there is an additional speedlight behind me. They were triggered with PocketWizard Plus Xs.

I had taken several 'spins' with the steel-wool and the next day, I noticed that the front of one of my speedlights was a bit melted. A piece of burning steel must have directly hit it and yes... burning steel is quite hot.
My friend, drunkenly spinning steel wool, had a chunk land on his head and now he has a bald spot there. So when playing with fire, play it safe, wear a wide-brimmed hat or at least a hoodie. Also make sure there's nothing flammable around like leaves or anything else that could catch fire. I only tend to spin steel wool in the Winter, Fall months unless it has recently been raining...
