Adventures into Mexican Markets: Visit to the Welder

in #photography7 years ago

We're finally getting a box built for our kiln by a local welder and today while waiting to confirm some details and pay a down payment I took a few shots of his shop. These are found all over and they all kinda look like this in terms of dirt and such. Metal work is very popular here, my house for example sports a custom metal bar front and custom doors. And a giant gate. They like their metal and concrete here and they do awesome things with it.

So for less than a hundred dollars we will have the case to our kiln....by the end of it it'll cost us less than 300 dollars USD total for something that would cost 1500 dollars or more manufactured.

More details on that to come soon, stay tuned.
