📷 OneBreathOnePhoto #13 - ONE photo of ONE moment on ONE breath of air
Hello dear Steemian friends! Welcome to the 13th episode of:
#OneBreathOnePhoto
As some of you may know, two of the things that I'm deeply passionate about besides travelling, is Freediving and Photography. Freediving is a practice of diving underwater without a tank or any other breathing apparatus, gliding through the watery abyss on a single breath of air with nothing but you and nature.
You are not a whale, not a dolphin, not a turtle.
You are fish, and you are beautiful just the way you are.

Great work as usual @kuenok. I am very impressed on how you can keep the camera still on just having one breath before free diving. Even from when I tried underwater photography as a diver, it can be rather hard to keep a camera stable.
Thanks @rockjon, now that I think about it, maybe freediving allows me to be less shaky because before each and every dive we do whats called a breathe up, a technique to relax our body, lower heart rates, and mind, then dive. Also, since I am totally holding my breath, I think there's less movement, and most importantly I am much more quieter and more mobile underwater compared to say scuba diving so the animals dont run away :)
That's quite interesting. I actually haven't thought of it that way. I think if I wasn't used to it I would be a bit more shaky if I free dived since I would worry about running out of air while I was underneath the water.
Yea it takes a bit of practice to be able to stay calm in the water. But I think it also adds to the thrill, and very rewarding when you get a god shot :)
Love that sport not a easy challenge but a fun challenge on how long you can survive in the deep....great shot keep them coming. Have upvoted you.
Thanks @hangin! yes it's very challenging but totally worth it. more to come!
