Hello Steemit friends! Today I will be sharing about this plant that is native to warm climate areas. We call it "Gumamela" or "Antulanga" here in the Philippines. I am still not sure though how many species of this plant there is in our garden. I have only captured 2 photos that is currently in bloom.

Hibiscus are known to have a hundred of species. This plant which is commonly known as rose mallow outside my country usually has five or more petals. They also come in varied colors like red, orange, white pink, yellow, purple, peach and some of their petals are a blend of 2 colors.

When I was a kid we usually mix its crushed flower into a soapy water to make bubbles last more time before it burst. Looking at these plants in our garden gives me a nostalgic feeling of my childhood and how simple a child's happiness is before.
