That's something I really, really miss about living in Andalucía. I was always near the sierra and could ride my bike through the winding mountain roads or hike in whichever direction I chose to go.
Someone mentioned that there is a particular type of tree that only grows in the cauldron of one of the extinct volcanoes in Canarias. Have you taken photos there?
