Photo Sphere / 360 Photos - I use Google StreetView App, Any other Recommendations?
I've recently gotten into using Google StreetView's app to take photo spheres (which are 360 photos including above and below you). The app is pretty cool and when photos are viewed on phones or similar devices, you can move the phone and the photo pans, making you feel more like you are there. The app also works with VR viewers.
One drawback using just your phone is how many photos the app has to take to stitch together a complete photo sphere. It can take a few minutes to capture each one (the app guides you through it) and people nearby might think you look crazy. Cameras that can take 360 photo sphere photos instantly are getting cheaper, but decent ones still cost about $200 I think.
One thing I like about using StreetView is that any photos I make public can be viewed by people using Google Maps. That means my dog is a star!
