The flowers are Spring Gentians, which I photographed on Saturday at the bank of Krn Lake (Krnsko Jezero - I got lost in Slovenia). | Die Blumen sind Frühlings-Enziane, welche ich am Samstag am Ufer des Krn Sees (Krnsko Jezero - I got lost in Slovenia) fotografiert habe. |

My son is learning photography and is gaining an appreciate for light. When it is rainy and grey, the photos dont pop as naturally as they do with good light!
Right, @old-guy-photos, photography and light belong together - no photo without light.
Gray, rainy and overcast days make photos look more dull and flat, but Lightroom and Photoshop are nice tools to bring some live into the worst photos ;)

It is always good when there are several excellent photos in stock. These pictures are great, I love field plants, especially when they bloom so luxuriously. I remember the days when the weather was great, but I didn’t find interesting objects for photographing, and vice versa, when the weather was terrible and I didn’t want to leave the house, but I had to do it, the subjects ran to me one by one .

You are right, that day was relatively good weather, where I was, but all around were dark clouds and bad weather with heavy rain.

Howdy sir johannpiber! you mean you are in the middle of your long weekend? What have you been doing for this long weekend and what holiday is it celebrating? I like that one mountain that is not just sheer rock on top, it's covered with trees and looks like you could put a house up there! Like the flower too, very rich color.

The gentian is a beautiful flower. Blue flowers, like blue eyes, are a lovely turn for nature. The landscape shots were awe-inspiring and I don't blame you for not wanting to go out in the rain. Wishing for you some fine weather for your long weekened:)
