Love Your F....ing Self First!

I know I'm supposed to be sleeping and letting my VI rest
but f#@k it
tomorrow is Valentines Day
and here's what these lichen have to say.

Love your hair...
no matter how straight, curly, afro
dry, oily, raggled or
whatever hair color you're granted with.

Love your forehead ...
no matter how
broad, wide, flat, bulgy
boney and too protruding it may look like.

Love your eyes ...
no matter how
chinky, slit, huge, bulgy
or far away from each other they look like.

Love your ears ...
no matter how
flappy, curled, folded, lobeless
or pointed like those of elves' they are.

Love your nose ...
no matter how
flat, broad, too tall, crooked
or looking like they're just holes on top of your lips.

Love your lips ...
no matter how
thin, thick, pouty ot not
or even missing they look like.

Love your chin ...
no matter how
long, bony, protruding, doubled,
missing or looking like that of a witch it is.

Love your neck ...
no matter how
long, short, full of slits
dark and wrinkled it now is.

Love your boobs ...
no matter how
flat, tiny, saggy,
over the top huge as melons they are.

Love your tummy ...
no matter how
bulgy, wrinkled, saggy
or full of stretch marks it is.

Love your fingers and toes ...
no matter how
long, short, incomplete or having two more extras
or ginger looking they are.

Love your thighs ...
no matter how
skinny, fat, saggy
or cellulites - filled they are.

Love your whole damn body ...
no matter how
much you wish
it looks different as it does.

Love yourself ...

and stop wishing what you have not
and before you tell another person;
"I love you." ...
Tell your damn self first ...
for only when you can truly love your f....ing self
can you also truly love
someone else.

Yeah ... all these may sound shallow but guess what, the world abounds in those who "love not " of what they see on the mirror.

If you can't love what you see in the mirror
can you then love that YOU
that you do not see at all?

Love your f....ing self first!

and tell yourself that ; "I love you" phrase first every day of your f....ing life and start as if you're being pushed at first and it shall become real in the end.

Now, remember ... do everything in moderation so love yourself in moderation, too, narcissism costs much.

Great post and totally agree. For me it's a bit the same as being happy. If you're not TRUELY happy (with) yourself, it's almost impossible to make someone else happy. At least not in the long run.
With that in mind, to me there's absolutely nothing selfish about putting YOU on place 1 and loving yourself first before anyone else.
