Medieval Fortress Smederevo was temporary capital of Serbia in the Middle Ages.
Srednjevekovna tvrdjava Smedervo je bila privremena prestonica Srbije u srednjem veku.

Nice shot! Can you explore much of the fortress?
Thank you, glad that you like it. You can explore the whole fortress, and the inner fort is in very good shape, well restored. Larger outer part of the fort is partially damaged in WW2 and there are efforts to be restored to its former glory. These days fort is used as the city park and open sports area.
Neat, I'll have to check it out sometime (soon hopefully!).

Има само још једна грешка, @dejan.vuckovic — Смедерево није било привремена престоница, него је прављено тако утврђено да буде престоница Србије пред Турском најездом. Да није пало, и данас би оно било престоница, а не Београд :)
