Travel with me: Sailing Greece, Day #7 - The Waves.
On the seventh day... or how does it starts exactly. Well on the seventh day we finally got sunshine! But along with the sunshine and changing weather we have got strong winds too.
You cant really see that in the images but waves went up to 2-3 meters and in a small boat like that you can really feel it :)
To even the fluctuations we had some liquid breakfast, it really evens the levels :) Actually it is quite alright when you are steering straight into the wave and resembles riding a horse, but most fun part starts when you go side to the waves. And we had to cross some distance sideways. You have to hold on to something :) I was holding on to my can :)
We have passed some really nice scenery, towns on the coast, kite surfers and windsurfers enjoyed the wind and sunny weather.
By the time we have arrived to Corinth the sun was already setting. Few of us went to the town to buy some drinking water the rest remained with the boat as we had some shady characters fooling around. You should always keep an eye on your belongings as there is always somebody that wants to make a quick buck on tourists that are not careful enough.
Te city was very beautiful and lively considering time of the day. But it seems that in Greece everybody is going out having dinner and drinking beer even when it is close to the midnight. Sadly my Samsung S7 was unable to keep with the low light situation and most of the images came out blurry.
Or it may have been the beer :)

I wanted to go back on google maps street view but it seems it is not possible. Maybe it was just some mystical island :)
