Vegetarian lunch at a food centre I frequent - 到个常去的熟食中心吃素食 (by @ace108)

It was a Saturday after taiji (taichi) practice and I went to a food center I frequent at Lorong 8 Toa Payoh in Singapore. This stalls in this food centers operates at different times. Some serve the breakfast/lunch crowd while others serve the lunch/dinner crowd. If you go there at different time of the day, you will still have enough variety for you to choose from. In this food centre, there are a few rows of food stalls. I'll just show you a couple of photos.

在某个星期六，练完了太极拳到了个常去的熟食中心-是在新加坡的大巴窑八巷。里面的摊位有些卖服早午餐，而其他卖午餐/晚餐。在不同时间到那里，你仍然有足够的选择。在这个熟食中心里，有几排卖吃的。这里有两排的照片。

I saw this stall selling vegetarian food which is relatively new and decided to try it.

我看到这个素食摊卖是开了不久，决定尝试一下。

$3 got me a plate of mixed noodles (bee hoon and noodle) and a few dishes.

$3买了一盘米粉面和几样菜。

The curry vegetables (mostly cabbage), stir fried brinjal in chilli and bean curd skin. You can have curry sauce of soya sauce added to it.

咖喱蔬菜（主要是包菜），辣椒炒茄子和豆腐皮。您可以加咖喱汁或卤汁。

Push away the vegtables so we can see the two different of noodles (one is bee hoon - the rice noodle and the other is yellow noodle).

把菜推开一边让大家能看到米粉和面。

Don't assume that vegetarian food is always healthy. You have to be selective in choosing the dishes. Some of the stuff are deep fried. You know what I mean.

不要以为素食一定是健康的食物。你必须在选择菜肴做真确的选择。有些东西是油炸。 你明白我的意思啦。
