Bird of paradise and Spider Lilies. Do they mix?

I was at near Changi City Point after a meeting nearby. Along the road were planted quite a lot of Birds of Paradise and Spider Lilies. I have seldom pay a lot of attention to the Birds of Paradise I have seen mostly because I didn't think those I see are very nice. Definitely not as nice as those posted by @crazymumzysa in this post:
我最近在樟城坊附近开完会后 在路边看到种着很多天堂之鸟和蜘蛛百合。我很少注意路边的天堂鸟，总觉得我见到的不是很好看。 绝对不如@crazymumzysa 的这帖里的美：

Next to the Birds of Paradise, were some Spider Lilies. Maybe, they planted too many Birds of Paradise together or they are missing fertilisation as suggested by @crazymumzysa. Or maybe Spider Lilies don't mix well with them.

I have never heard of a spider lily before. That's are some crazy looking flowers. I really like the orange ones. Thanks for showing me something new.

就是这种我叫喜欢。很多在路边看就没那么多彩。
是阿! 這種的生存條件比較少一些, 需要細心的照顧才有, 不過台灣是有幾處可以拍!

Love your taste in music ace108. They also might not get enough light because there are so many plants per square meter. They still create a beautiful picture and I have seen some in far worse condition than yours on these photos.
Yes, I see too many times here that they are bunched together.
So, yes, missing enough nutrients from the soil and sunlight too.
