Introduction | 简介

Last weekend was a long weekend because Monday was a holiday. It’s May Day and it’s our Labour day holiday. Instead of doing some normal housework on Sunday morning, we did our labour on Monday morning and went out for late lunch to East Coast Part. This is 1st part of the series.

上个周末是一长周末，因为星期一是假日劳动节。平时的家务从星期天拖到星期一才劳动。后来就迟些到东海岸吃午餐。 这是系列的第1部分。

I decided to get some noodles from here. They say they have no other branch except this stall.

我决定在这摊位买两个面。他们说只此一家，别无分店。

The noodle was good. The chilli sauce they have is excellent. Spicy but not the numbing type.

On the left is a stall selling dessert and on the right is a stall selling fried carrot cake and popiah.

Popiah is some cooked mixed vegetables put wrapped together and cut into pieces. My American friend called it Chinese burritos.

The popiah was good not but one of the best. One thing I like though is the egg they have in there is fried egg rather than boiled egg.

Dessert time and so good is this peanut ice kachang on a hot day. It’s shaved ice with some other ingredients like red bean with syrup rained on it and sprinkled with peanuts.
