📷 Funny feathered beauties: black kakadu and red Macao
Hello, my dearest friends! You saw of black kakadu (Cacatuidae, Kakatoeidae)?
I'll show them to you
This kakadu, black as pitch, and near beaks have him striking red-pinkish speck. There are cheeks, but the eye was almost invisible from afar.
About black kakadu can not say that he is beautiful, although it is the most impressive representative of the family of kakadu.
In the wild they live in Northern Australia, New Guinea, and nearby Islands. Like loneliness and silence, in which their voice will prevail.
If you are dissatisfied or scared, then inflate your cheeks , which are completely devoid of feathers. At the same time it is clearly visible how they are able to change their color. In the normal state it is pink, and if they get angry the color immediately changes to bright red.
But the beak of the kakadu is quite unusual, some all carved. They are able to eat a cage or even a small metal grid.
But some parrots to us not even turned around, watched with something more interesting and exciting.
But we looked at all of their bright feathers, which in the sun shimmered very effectively.
Others were preening. Was looking for someone, and then glancing keenly at the visitors...
They live long, sometimes up to 90 years to live.
They come to admire not only children but also adults. I think you will like such feathered friends.
Enjoy your holiday, friends!
Thank you for Your attention and Your visit. I appreciate Your feedback and comments.
I wish you luck and have a nice day!
