Scapes photochallenge (Ladoga lake, Russia)

Each year I try to have a pilgrimage to Ladoga lake with my family, last years its mostly a 5-day trip onboard of a ship, which has its bonuses (one dont need to carry all the weight on its shoulders, we are more mobile and see much more for intresting places for the said 5-days period, etc).but this time it was a camp on the southern bakn of the Ladoga lake, which is not so picturesque, as the northern (I have tonns of pictures to show you, in time). SO, the southern bank is quite plain and not that intresting. We just camped there with another family (3 little babies was a nice company!) enjoyed the sand beach, swimming and sunsets. oh, and mushrooms, too.
this camp was the place my baby have got acquainted herself for the first time in her life with condensed milk! this cute proofpic helps me to remember that.. check this impression of an absolute extasy in her face.
on sunny days this location provided absolutely fantastic golden hours! I've took there some of my best pics ever.. I'm still learning, but I'm already in the know, that good photo is all about the light, not about the using greatest gear possible...

I agree! @brittandjosie is quite wonderful! Keep in mind that with the shadow contest you do not have to create a post. You can just enter the photo of your choice into the comments section
