Knowledge and Unity
Knowledge promotes a strong and integrated true unity though more effort. Ignorance promotes a weaker less integrated false "unity" but is easier to do.
Conformity to the truth in reality creates true unity. This requires the most effort to verify the accuracy of knowledge gained and create a solid grounding through understanding reality. Conformity to falsity in reality creates false “unity” through attachment to falsity. Ignorance easily creates unity because there is no conflicting knowledge. Falsity agreed upon and ignorance as a blank false “unity” is a weak foundation for grounding through a lack of understanding reality.
Awareness Levels
Less awareness of reality is less knowledge about reality. That ignorance has less potential of creating conflict with others who are also ignorant. Someone who doesn't know much has a basic low level understanding, which can also be filled with false knowledge accepted as "right", "correct" or "true".
Someone who has more knowledge has more awareness and has a higher level understanding, with more data to filter and notice falsity or contradiction in the false knowledge they may have accepted. To arrive at clear and grounded understandings within ourselves, we need to remove conflicting knowledge, and truly unite within ourselves and with reality as it is.
Gaining knowledge and awareness about aspects of reality allows for more refinement and accuracy of understanding through verifying the conflicting information. Without much awareness or verification of reality, there is little potential for conflict in a state of ignorance.
Blank Page vs. Same Page Understanding
A low level understanding or awareness can be likened to a "blank page" or "blank book" compared to a higher level understanding or awareness. People who are ignorant can more easily "unite" because they are not filed with much knowledge.
People who have knowledge, be it true or false, have more potential conflicting information from each other, therefore uniting with each other on a the "same page" can be difficult since their pages or books can be conflicting with information. Someone with knowledge also can't easily unite with someone who is ignorant and has to learn to be on the "same page", or if they are attached to falsity because it conflicts with more accurate knowledge in reality/truth.
Blank-page "unity" is easy, it's a "unity" through being lesser aware, blank and empty of truth vs. falsity, of right vs. wrong, or correct vs. incorrect. Comparatively, one blank book is the same as another blank book. Knowledge differentials create division. When everything is blindly accepted as valid to avoid conflict, false "unity" occurs.
Truth Divides from Falsity
Truth divides from falsity. Truth rejected or falsity accepted between people, creates disunity. More awareness of reality is knowledge, either positive accurate truth or negative inaccurate falsity, and therefore more points of possible conflict. Shared quality accurate knowledge, i.e. truth, is the path and way to true unity. Learning the truth in reality, including how our consciousness functions, psychology, etc. is much more difficult. It requires time, energy, effort, dedication, persistence and determination. Truth takes time and effort.
Inaccurate knowledge, i.e. falsity, can't create true unity, but can create false "unity" on the commonality of mutually accepting falsity. Falsity needs to be removed for a real, authentic, truly whole, solid and integrated unity to occur.
The real and authentic strength, solidity, integrity, quality and groundedness of unity within ourselves psychologically (thoughts, emotions, actions) and of our perceptions with reality, is based on the quality knowledge of truth and morality we take in and discern. The more ignorant of truth and morality we are, the more holes we have in our foundational comprehension, and the weaker and falser our attempts at "unity" are. This leads to being a falser self, compared to a truer self that is united, integrated and strengthened by the truth of reality. A falser unrealer self is misalignment/disunity with reality/truth vs. truer realer self in alignment/unity with reality/truth.
Ignorance
Some people are either being ignorant of important true aspects of reality that matter to positively evolve ourselves and the condition of the world, or we are in acceptance of false negative knowledge of various kinds (falsity accepted as "truth").
Being ignorant makes us more easily united since we have nothing to be divided by, but this is not real true unity and integrity. Accurate knowledge of reality brings truth. More quality knowledge separates us from the collective ignorance or conformity and attachment to falsity.
Ignorance results in conformity to a programmed conditioned way of living in the system. Knowledge allows divergence from the false conformity. Filling up the blank empty pages with accurate truth makes it harder to unite with others who do not do so and reject the truth, or are attached to falsity.
We struggle with various information, misinfo and disinfo to try to find the truth, getting caught in traps, cul-de-sacs and mind-viruses along the way, getting attached to "feel-good" false self-views and wolrdviews constructing beliefs accepted as "truth".
Negative false knowledge makes true unity impossible. The more false info, disinfo, misinfo that exists, the more potential there is for falsity to spread, the more difficult it is to gain quality knowledge in the confusion of massive amounts of information to discern, and the more difficult it is to unite on that solid grounded foundation of accurate knowledge (truth), instead of the faulty, flimsy, false "unity" from incorrect or useless knowledge.
Truth inherently divides from falsity. The only way to truly unite is for everything to care for, seek, embrace, accept, integrate and live the truth found in the common reality we share (objective reality).
Uniting to be Free
Getting to a state of human existence and living where we are united, free and living in peace, requires more quality knowledge, and is much harder to accomplish, but we can. Engaging in more moral living through voluntary interactions will empower us all in our lives, and take the power away from centralized authoritarian governmental control over our lives. We have the potential to live without rulers or masters (anarchy), if we work towards creating that way of life.

This is exactly why TPTB have undertaken the Prussian education model: to unify their subjects in ignorance and 'knowledge' of fake news. It's also why they censor the online media platforms they fund, like Fakebook, Twatter, and Youtool, as well as disseminate propaganda.
Thus, free people are necessarily fragmented as they variously succumb to fake news, learn truths differentially, and, due to their learned need to combat disinfo, are prone to reject others as shills, many of whom simply haven't learned the same facts, or aren't bamboozled by the same disinfo.
I learned as a child that police in Sitka, Alaska, were murderous thugs that sold cocaine they killed people to get, used their kids to sell drugs, and provided alcohol to kids. Most people in my home town didn't know these things, and would have rejected me as a conspiracy theorist, just because they had no clue.
For these reasons, it's imperative that freedom be predicated on the ability of folks to tolerate diverse views, independence of action, and free association. Many, however, are intolerant, even extremely so, as what little they have learned has caused them to consider views diverging from their own as supportive of the lies they have seen through.
Folks almost universally consider their own government representatives more honest and helpful while considering Congress to be infested with verminous liars and corruption. McCain keeps getting elected, as do Feinstein and Waters.
It is this phenomenon that so strongly potentiates divide and conquer, Hegelian Dialectic means of controlling populations, not only in the US, but around the world. I find it helpful to realize people in China, Tibet, Saudi Arabia, and Iran are all subjected to similar propaganda, from divergent points of view, but with the exact same end: to pit them all against one another under the appearance of different banners, but all controlled by a core group dissembling and misleading them to prevent them from learning the same truth.

Indeed, people keep falling for lies that make them feel good about their little corner of the world. "Politicians are liars, but not mine, he/she is honest"... otherwise we would have to admit that our personal lives are just as hijacked at the close smaller level as they are at the distant larger level ;)
I strongly agree with you, someone with higher science wins can open more insight and also able to filter the information it receives, education and learning the most important thing to do to get it. a person with a low level of ability and insight tends to directly fill in the information provided without filtering the information whether true or false.
Yup, gaining knowledge to lessen ignorance but not filtering the info tends to lead to accepting false info as true.
First of all thanks for sharing this informative and deep knowledged post, and also you have explained the knowledge and unity nicely and effectively with the help of graphs and yes knowledge is really important aspect in life because it will help you to understand the situations which you face and if you have lack of knowledge then possibly you will ignore the truth and blindly follow the false words and promise and in my opinion people who talk false their circle grows very fast because the path of truth is really difficult but it will maintain your self respect. And you said right if we get true knowledge then we don't need any centralised governments because in my opinion the centralised government policies are against of common people's interest. Uniting to be free or for a cause is a great thing! However uniting blindly under the wrong leadership can be dangerous. That is how countries are taken over and freedoms are destroyed bearing the illusion of freedom. A united people in one area can be more easily controlled and manipulated. How do you gain true knowledge, when most people have opinions without knowledge?. How do you make sure people don’t follow false knowledge, which sources are correct?
Even in anarchy, people’s opinions will be there, even in anarchy leaders will stand up. These leaders could be good or bad? Might have the truth or not. I don’t see the the utopia you desire, as a much better world, it just doesn’t seem possible.
Knowledge is info, true or false. Look at reality to demonstrate truth and validity of knowledge. People can lead, but not be rulers over others. Understanding is required to keep people from giving their power to would-be leaders and rulers.
Ignorance is Bliss
Articlevery well explained the power and fruitful results of knowledge but a great saying also exist that ignorance is a bliss and it actually works sometimes.
I am not in favour to be ignorant but for unity, yes knowledge is mandatory
I strongly agree, it is very true the ability to filter the information obtained is very important must be owned by someone for the received information can be processed correctly and also not wrong in interpreting a thing, if someone is often wrong in memnyaring an information it is better to learn more enterprising lagiv in understanding things and do not be too hasty to draw conclusions.
Knowledge is what we can gain our whole life, and it increases with time and age :)
