This is the first spring on the property for me - so many garden beds to build .. It has been great to see all setups :)

Thanks Alex :) Many people live in a limited space - I like how efficiently your box garden uses the space and keeps the garden organized for easier harvesting.

this is todays pics. just 4 weeks after germinating!
That's filling out nicely - really helps the soil from drying out as much when there's that full coverage like on the far right. I'm at my aunts for the night, but looking forward to getting back to the cabin to direct seed the salad mix lettuces - the garden bed has already been made and is ready to go. I'm going to put a plastic tunnel over the row, too many rabbits out here :)
yes it is! wow it literally grows by the day! i think the vermiculite also helps water retention.. this mix is VERY good it seems!

One amazing layout after another - very inspiring. I'm in the process of putting my slice of eddible paradise together - a lot of great ideas in these posts that I will be implementing :)
These are all so inspirational! I cannot wait to get out to our own homestead and create an amazing garden too!
