Thank you very much for your nomination! What I want to achieve through this publication is that many people can feel identified, it is a vulnerable issue and from now on I always encourage people to strengthen themselves and be able to overcome and be resilient, I currently help a group of high risk children and adolescents in their food and spiritual life. This nomination means a lot of poe that will help me, since this platform has been my economic sustenance many times, so I am in demand to share original and excellent content. Thanks @pifc for this great initiative

I almost nominated @donna-metcalfe myself. She won't be long in the redfish realm now. @barski is new to me, though he only needs a tiny push now. I've followed him because he's got a great sense of humor. (I love the pigeon picture - this bird ain't sick, he's waiting for the RC reboot!)

Oh yes, I am here to stay and plan to post more soon. I haven't been going places or doing much of interest to write about. But I still think about things so maybe I'll write about that! :-)

Yes, the season is changing here but we have very mild winters. Soon we will have hot, dry, desert winds blowing. Usually cold weather waits for February. So here it is the time to plant perennials, transplant bulbs, and seeds of sweet peas (which I love) to give them a good start for the spring. We don't have four distinct seasons like other parts of the country. Here it is either hot or cold because we live on the edge of the Mojave (Moh-hah-vee) Desert.
I would love to share more recipes, and see more from you too! I think it is better to post a recipe with a photo I take of the actual food. But I usually forget before I eat it! Maybe a photo of the leftovers? Just some better planning? Or easy recipes with no photos? I love to cook and it's fun to share!

The first one had a very poignant story to share, from the heart, about the continuing devastation of Venezuela. So sad, but she closed with a great attitude to have going forward!
The second one had a very creatively presented idea. Now, I've heard some good ones, but this was the first time on how to get more out of a banana! While she made a compelling case, I told her probably wouldn't do much good at my age ... 😉
