It's All About Our Noble Steemians With @uche-nna. Episode 12
There are some steemains on this platform that deserve an accolade for the good work that they are doing on the steem platform. Such people I call them noble steemains
because they have been supporting this platform in one way or the other.
Over the course of time, I will be introducing you to many of the noble steemains here in our community and trying to get to know each of them little better. I have taken this upon myself to shed more light on who this noble steemains are and what they are capable of doing.
MEET MY GUEST @uche-nna FROM NIGERIA
Welcome to another great episode of it's all about our noble steemains with @dhavey and thanks for taking your time to converse with me @uche-nna
Can you tell our readers reading this how you first hear about steemit and what motivated you to join?
Well, early this year by the starting of March, I was preparing for my utme examination. At that period I stayed away from social media to avoid distractions.
So during that period, I got a call from a friend of my @jessse12.
He said "Uche how are you doing, there is something I want to tell about. It's called steemit, a place where you blog and earn from it."
I was like wow!, That's great because have always loved writing right from the start, which is now part of me. I have been dreaming to make a career out of writing, and also, have always wanted to own a blog but I don't have a PC to start or money to pay for a web. So these things motivated to join the steemit community.
So I told him I would love to join but that would be after my exams.
He then said, I should read about steemit and I can open an account now, then when am done with my exams, I can start blogging.
I did as I was been told, then after the exams I wasn't yet approved. I waited for extra two days before I was been approved. Then I registered fully on March12 2018 and I started blogging.
As a steemain what is the biggest challenge you have ever faced since you joined steemit?
smiles..
Take a deep breath and continue.
My challenges was when I had to combine work and steemit together. I got fustrated and wanted to quit steemit but then I remembered I would be rewarded so I kept steeming.
My second challenge was lack of money in buying data for me to continue
If you ask some steemains they will tell you that they are not steeming for rewards and all that they need is just relationship with other steemains, now if rewards are removed from steem, would you still blog on steem?
Of course I will, because of the relationship have created and the family have established on this platform.
Yeah, making friends and building relationships is good on this platform, can you tell us those steemains that as contributed and impacted your blogging experience since you joined steemit?
Holds my chest in an emotional way..
They are alot of steemians that contributed greatly to my blogging experience but I would like to mention some personalities that I would never forget through out my life time.
Thay are @gee1, @tojukaka, @surpassinggoogle, @air-clinic, @nairadaddy @warpedpoetic, @jesse12, adedoyinwealth, @jeaniepearl....
I want to say thank you to y'all
What were you told before you joined steemit?
I was told that steemit is where you earn but it involves your time and dedication.
Do you really think anyone will still visit your blog if they don't have any other thing to benefit from you or your steem allies apart from the messages you pass across?
Yeah, I strongly think so because before the steem allies I had some people who do visit then.
Can you tell the community one thing that people will remember you for even if you quit steemit today?
hmmmm, that's something I can't predict.. Lol
But first it would be my voice.. yumyum
Well they would remember me for been an inspiration to most people..
If you could give advice to newbies on how to be successful on this platform, what would it be?
Well in a some sentence I would say, You should be persistent and consistent to succeed on steemit, because at first you won't get what you expecting when you join the platform. But your consistency and persistency will keep you going, not to give up.
So in conclusion put in your best and time, then watch your self grow
What is your take on using Bot to support once post.
I don't so much give in to that idea
As a steemian do you think finding a niche rather than posting some random stuff?
Posting random stuffs is good but then finding a niche is also important because it would help you alot, especially in improving yourself and it helps you not to fall into the hands of writers block.
If there was one thing you could do or suggest to make steem more interesting and attractive to users, what would that be?
I would suggest that the downvoting should be removed..
How would you do that?
That would be for those that created the platform/community
If there was a worldwide internet and cellular blackout for a week, what would you do for those 7 days?
I would read novels, eat, listen to music and sleep..
If you are privilege to talk to someone yet to join steemit, what can you tell the person that will motivate such person to join?
I would tell the person that steemit is a place where you can show your talents, what you good at and also get rewarded for it
It's an great honor conversing with you @uche-nna Thanks for coming for the show. Have a wonder day.
Thank you..
