If you haven't heard, yet, I like rocks! Love 'em, actually!!
So what better than to have a Rock Contest?
In the picture above, and ones below, are several different rocks!

UPDATE!! BONUS! There's an additional stone in the first pic that I forgot to include! If you name it correctly, it counts!
RULES
1. You cannot be a geologist or geology student to play.
2. You must upvote and resteem this post.
3. You must have a reputation .....UPDATE! ALL REP SCORES CAN PLAY!
4. All answers are to be posted in replies below with the correct number of each stone by the answer.
5. This contest will be active for 7 days starting from when it was posted.
6. If no one gets all the stones correct, the person with the most right answers, wins!
7. Winner will be announced and contacted, after the 7 days have past.
8. Name the un-numbered bonus stone, in the first pic, correctly, and if you win, I will upvote and resteem a post of your choosing!
9. All contest reply guesses will receive an upvote on the response by me!
Here's 2 hints! One of the stones pictured is a Colorado State rock or mineral. A second stone, is found in the state of Colorado, too!

I did the best I could with my limited knowledge, I know I didn't get them all (heck I guessed rhodochrosite twice) but I tried.

Also I forgot to number one stone in first pic! It's a bonus one if you can name it right! Only have to have 11 correct!

Hm.. I'm not so good at this. The only one I can say for sure is the turquoise. Though I'm pretty sure 6 is not pure sulfur but a crystalline mineral with some sulfur content, correct?

Well there's 2 yellow in the 11 total and I can promise you that neither amethyst NOR citrine are present in the group lol. (I'm hoping someone at least gets the neon yellow one named.) Those generally too easy. I do hope someone takes a shot at it though! 😊 And the Colorado ones all you have to do is a little googling

Even if I had a rep lower than 49 I would feel guilty about doin that. I’ve got one of those guilty consciences that likes to hang around when you haven’t done something 100% honest.

Nice contest, although very difficult if you ask me. I’m curious to find out if anyone will be able to name all 11.

P.S: just a little tip: IMHO, you’re limiting the chances of the popularity of the contest by asking for an upvote ánd a resteem ánd a reputation score below 48. Just saying.... it’s totally up to you of course :0)
