Another beautiful chapter, Vincent :) I love how you captured the awkwardness that usually blossomed after a moment of intense closeness between two people... I can feel the boy's relief and the girl's internal distress...

I can definitely relate with the young lady hear. I sometimes have dreams where I am running from some impending doom. Inevitably, I become tired and feel that such a labored existence isn’t really living and turn to face my demise. Very nice addition to the story and m definitely looking forward to r adding more about these characters.
