• Saiga Antelope

This beautiful, but bizarre, critter is the Saiga Antelope. Yes. She has two very long nose holes.

 

The saiga antelope is a critically endangered antelope that originally inhabited a vast area of the Eurasian steppe zone

          

• Sumatran Rhinoceros

This strange baby is an infant Sumatran Rhinoceros. The Sumatran rhinoceros, also known as the hairy rhinoceros or Asian two-horned rhinoceros, is a rare member of the family Rhinocerotidae and one of five extant rhinoceroses. It is the only extant species of the genus Dicerorhinus

The Sumatran Rhino is critically endangered, and researchers believe there are fewer than 100 left in the wild.
We don’t know why the babies look like an Alchemist tried to create a Rhino/Human Chimera. That’s just how nature do.

                

• Slow Loris

This is the Slow Loris. You’ve probably seen videos or gifs of these little guys putting their hands in the air & being tickled.

Well... stop laughing about it. The Slow Loris is a venomous mammal, and it keeps the tables venom sacs in its elbows

        

This is not the Loris being cute... he’s trying to defend himself with venom sacs that have been surgically removed so that some human could “play” with him. Please stop buying wild animals as pets.

   

• Aye-Aye

This ugly mug belongs to the Aye-Aye.

                      

It’s basically a werewolf lemur, and humans that share its habitat believe that seeing one will rain down bad luck... so they kill them when they spot them

                           

They’re super useful, though!

                                            

That finger that looks like it’s used for eye-gouging is actually used for tapping on trees to locate hollows created by insects, and then for scooping out said insects for eating! Those freakish ears help them to hear the bugs inside the trees
