Those Days Of Turmeric - Poetry Piece - @naturalmedicine contest
When we were kids there was no stopping, we always headed like topping
Excitement and Enthusiasm was so much, nothing like such
While playing unknowingly we were hurting ourselves and bleeding became usual, parents were in fear and state of confusional
We didn't like to eat medicine due to bitterness, but parents were knowing the medical importance.
Then parents and grandparents run with a magical powder, it's called turmeric powder
We didn't had any clue about it but it was something, this powder turned pain into nothing
Then it's time for the hot turmeric milk, milk turned into colour of silk
I drank turmeric milk in my sick days, it helped me many ways.
Turmeric belongs to ginger family, turmeric is always available for cookery
This is famous for Asian cuisines, now it became part of routines
It's always used as Ayurvedic Medicine, natural medicine is divine
It's usability travelled for thousands of years, it's knowledge is amazingly appears.
Mainly turmeric is used for culnery, like this process is necessary
Our dishes are incomplete without turmeric spice, with that we daily eat rice
Turmeric is yellow and orange gem, i am thinking what feeling hold by those at first who found them
This story is not generic, because i am remembering those days of turmeric.

That looks like ginger in the photo though... turmeric root has a deeper gold colour almost red/orange when fresh.

Actually i was looking for Turmeric Powder and in this picture we can see the Turmeric Power and Turmeric belongs to Ginger Family so i come with picture which consists both Ginger and Turmeric Powder. Have a great time ahead.
