Here Comes The News - Thursday 6 September - with @crypto.talk, @danieldyemusic, @krnel, @gregorypatrick, @azizbd, @martin.mikes, @mr-greens & @akumbu
So what did you think of the first episode of Here Comes The News last week?
I totally enjoyed it. And I learnt a massive amount - both from the news stories from my guests, and from the production of the show.
So I am back again for one more test and transition episode of the show. Two hours of news, and then for the last hour a throwback to My Life In 8 Songs with special guest @danieldyemusic.
The first two hours are going to be packed full of great news stories.
We will be covering Partiko, the Rohingya refugee crisis, the secessionist struggle in Cameroon, Gardasil vaccine dangers, Google secret deals and a whole lot more.
In between the news stories we will be playing some of my top picks from DSound this week. And I am delighted to reveal that Pedro @prc from DSound has very kindly agreed to sponsor the Here Comes The News show.
This is another great big show on MSP Waves Radio. Make sure you are listening in from 8pm - 11pm UTC on Thursday.
The News
- Guest interviewer and witness @quochuy will be joining me for the first segment of the show to talk with @crypto.talk about his new @partiko mobile app for steem.
Mohammed @azizbd from north-eastern Bangladesh will be coming on the show to discuss the Rohingya refugee crisis. He recently published a post about this issue :
https://steemit.com/humanity/@azizbd/is-it-time-to-say-myanmar-you-are-alone
- From Cameroon @martin.mikes, @mr-greens and @akumbu will be talking about the increasingly bloody secessionist struggle that is taking place in the country at the moment - largely unreported by western media.
This article in the UK Guardian newspaper gives more about the subject :
For the final segment of the news part of the show I will be joined by witness @krnel from Canada and US based truth seeker @gregorypatrick from @informationwar who will be discussing a number of recent news stories including :
Corruption in Maryland Gardasil Vaccine Policies Exposed by Pro-Vaccine Parent
Secret Deals Have Google Tracking 70% of Credit and Debit Card Data
My Life In 8 Songs with @danieldyemusic
In the final hour of the show we are going to back for a My Life In 8 Songs with @danieldyemusic from Ohio in the USA.
Daniel Dye, an “extraordinary singer-songwriter” (Buckeye Music Magazine), and co-founder of Madden Road Music Fest, was born and raised in rural Ohio, although the last decade has found him working, traveling, and playing music throughout Europe and Asia.
He plays the guitar, banjo, and harmonica, and is sometimes accompanied by the Miller Road Band, Sister Sarah, or other members of his family. The classically-trained Miller Road Band, Dye’s nephews and nieces, add the violin, viola, cello, melodica, mandolin and harmonies to create a “heartwarming and soulful…rich Bluegrass sound” to Dye’s “powerful short stories through simply beautiful lyrics” (WYSO 91.3).
His songs have been described anywhere from “Americana/Folk/Roots” that “takes you back in time”(Buckeye Music Magazine), to “lovely folk-clad rural reflections” (Columbus Underground), to “thoroughly organic and full of soul” (Tuned Up), to “morbid troubadour folk” (Poptek Recs).
Dye has released two albums with the MRB, one with Sister Sarah, and is currently releasing a song every month as part of his Home Sessions Project.
Every August Dye gathers with family, friends, musicians, artists, and many, many others on his family farm for the annual Madden Road Music Fest. The ninth festival will take place on 17 August 2019.

I have yet to take the interview leap yet, we tried to run a live show in onelove but the host ended up leaving so that was cut short... from what I have seen you definitely do better then I with the actual interview part.

Thanks bro. I don't think I have interviewed someone before, that must be a cool experience!
Would be exciting to see you interview someone someday!

Ohh god me interview that would just be a giant laugh session 😝 maybe one day but as it is right now I’m also avoiding the meet ups I guess I’m the Steemit hermit.
I was meaning I have yet to be interviewed as I get so nervous, for a little while there I had 3 people asking and I just couldn’t bring myself to do it.
