I join steemit 6 months ago (come to think of it im 6 months pregnant =O both happen at the same time!!) and I was like most, attracted to the platform because of the “free money for just posting” thing we all here about when we start in this, here is the thing like I said in previous post im from Venezuela and SteemIt is a source of income that helps me support myself and help in the house I live in with my partner and to top that it helps me have a source of income to support my unborn child cause my country is going through a very bad financial crisis (and humanitarian, politics, etc… crisis but I will not get into it cause this post is not about that) and is very hard to have any kind of saving in Bolivares (our currency in the country) so having easy access to dollars is really a relief.

At first I was introduce to the free vote bots like @banjo or @steemgigs (no longer working as voting bots) and then I learn about the @minnowsupport one so I join the PALNet to be able to use it, I didn’t knew better so I just went there to drop my links, one day I was super bored and saw that the PALNet has a general channel that is usually active lots of people were talking and I join in the conversation, my whole SteemIt Experience change that day.

I learned and still continue learning so much, you see SteemIt is all about community and networking is the way to get your material get notice, is the way to learn how to improve your posts, and Minniow Support Project is one of the biggest communities on the platform and people in there is so nice! the generosity of some of the members is something it took me by surprise (looking at you @juliakponsford). If you ever have a question about anything there is always someone to help you out, or if you just want to talk about any subject you are always welcome to do so.

The PALNet is the community server on Discord for the Minniow Support Project the server has so many channels for all the different topics that you want you can choose to either join the conversation on the General channel or choose a topic centric channel, they on top have a Radio Station that has almost every day several live shows that are mostly aimed to help minnows get around learn and grow in the platform, you can enjoy listening to the radio and join the conversation in a channel call #mspwaves-audience where you can interact with the show hosts other members of the audience and ask questions.

Always remember the PALNet community is mostly to engaged in networking and helping minnows, you will see that if you use the community bot to upvote your posts, that will currently make you gain a very small upvote that is aimed to help boost your post but is not to make you rich, if you also hang out try making friends you could gain even more from those people cause they will get interested in looking at your post and upvoted them and said upvotes will be worth so much more than the one given by the msp bot and on the plus side you will end up making awesome friends. This is why you should join! They offer help, guidance and friendship!.

Came for the bots, but I stayed for the community
