Macrophotography

Everyone knows this little pestilence. After the animal got lost in my apartment and sat down on the bathroom tiles, I was able to photograph it several times and then determine the species exactly. Whether it is a female or a male I can not say, stinging they do not bother me anyway. My last mosquito bite is so long ago that I can not even remember it, certainly over 15 years. I can only guess why that is, at least they are no danger to me.

Diesen kleinen Plagegeist kennt wohl jeder. Nachdem sich das Tier in meiner Wohnung verirrt hat und sich auf den Badfliesen niedergelassen hat konnte ich es in aller Ruhe mehrmals ablichten und dann die Art genau bestimmen. Ob es ein Weibchen oder Männchen ist kann ich aber nicht sagen, stechen tun sie mich sowieso nicht. Mein letzter Mückenstich ist so lange her, daß ich mich nicht einmal daran errinnern kann, bestimmt über 15 Jahre. Woran das liegt kann ich nur vermuten, jedenfalls stellen sie für mich keine Gefahr dar.
