Steem Up To $0.35 Canadian 18/03/17
With the market cap up from 28 million US to 61 million US, I think we will see a much higher STEEM price. Similarly I noticed the market cap increase of DASH back in January and February and I made some small bets. I wish I had bought more DASH when I had the chance. Will I wait and regret it when STEEM reaches $0.50 or $0.75?
Some important statistics I have been following can be found at http://Steempunks.com .
Where the average was less than 75 each day, yesterday we had 116 new users.
Slightly more active users, 1345 , and still the high end of 5,046 active voters.
New posts yesterday at 1584 beats the 7 day and 30 day average as well.
Just 19 days ago you could buy 1000 Steem for $149CAD, whereas today it would cost $352.
Are you using eSteem? Killer apps like this will help Steemit.
I wrote this article to help with onboarding new users when I was inviting friends. There still seems to be a large barrier to entry, but as the price rises the monetary incentive to post on Steemit will bring more to the platform. I remember what brought me here was seeing Jeff Berwicks $15,967 post. Even his earnings per post have fallen to all time lows.
If Steem rises to $1 or higher, will we see popular posts earning in the thousands again? If Steem reaches $100 what kind of earning potential will my posts have with just 1200SP? How much should we really have to invest in Steemit when we can earn by posting quality content? Please comment below as this is a discussion all Steemians should be involved in.
resteem!
You have raised very good questions @darkflame and I'd like to be part of this discussion in an effort to learn what's happening. I have also noticed that my estimated value in my wallet on Steemit doesn't match what other sites are posting that the value is. I use steemwhales.com as an example. So, I'm not sure why numbers aren't matching...
I was looking at Steemwhales and there it says Estimated Value: $420 vs $148.07 on Steemit.
Thanks for noting this for me @darkflame. I appreciate it.
The price on steemit is the average of the last 7 days. The price on steemwhales is based on current market value.
Thank you @justtryme90! Makes sense.
You are very welcome.
