#whalepower. My Personal Understanding of Steemit

I stand to be corrected if I am wrong.

Steemit is a social network with a difference. I believe it was established for the sole purpose of promoting steem and steem dollar cryptocurrencies. Various blockchain engineers devise special ways of promoting and mining of their newly introduced currencies. For examples, some have adopted gaming. When you play game, you get true coins unlike fake coins as it used to be. Some adopt advert, some, investment in tokens, others, presentation of a given wallet etc.

Steem inventors chose social network, where talented writers, people who are creative in various walks of life can come and share their creativity, knowledge and ideas, and get paid in steem and steem dollar.
Steemit is a social network with a difference. There are so many other social network where people make posts and comment. People can stick there because they have no reason coming over here. But when we talk to them, we ask them to come and see a difference. The difference is:

• Make post and get paid
• Make comment and get paid

So those who believe us come without delay. Now the question is:
Why do some people make comments like,

• Some people come here to make million
• People behave as if it is all about making money that we are here.
• And so many other unwarranted statements.

Steemit, I believe is not for good writers only, or better still, bloggers only. It is for everybody, I will prove it.
It is a place where people display their creativity, talent.

WHAT IS CREATIVITY?
Creativity is the ability to use imagination to produce a novel, idea, or product that is useful to society.
This dictionary meaning suggests that creativity is not just writing novel or blogging, but initiating idea, product useful to the society.
Hence, we see people who are good at cooking, showing different delicacies and methods of cooking them.
We see travellers who visit important places in the world and update us with interesting information.
We also see people who take us to wild life, educate us on psychology and philosophies of life and so many other areas.

Every human being fits-in in a given area of human endeavour. To some, it may take time to manifest. For maintime, they comment and resteem till they begin to make their own posts. To others, they are already developed, but that does not mean that they will be the best at the tail end, as the end justifies the means. Time has a way of revealing the truth.

Let no one feel that steemit is for a particular set of people. The aim of @nad and @dan, I believe is to ensure a decentralized blockchain. That through steemit, steem and steem dollar will be distributed to as many as desire it, especially those who do not have the initial capital to invest but have talent.

DO WE FORESEE THE END TO STEEMIT SOONEST?
The answer is capital no. I will prove it. Facebook recently celebrated two(2) billion users, and the world population is at about six(6) billion. Two billion out of this population may be minors and may not be allowed on social network. More two billion people are needed on Facebook to cover the world population.

How many years will it take Facebook to cover the remaining 2 billion adults?
How many are we on steemit?
How many units of steem have been mined?
Is there no possibility of steemit accommodating 2 billion people?

Steemit, as a matter of fact, is at the beginning stage. It may take twenty(20) years to mine 4 billion steem units which will not be enough for 4 billion adults in the world. The structure of steem and steemit is second to none, it is one in a million. It can never be enough. Reason is because everyone tends to be on social network. In other words, it is a platform for everybody.
Steemit needs more people. Four(4) billion world adult population on steemit will do no one any harm. No one should feel indifference about the newbies who claim they come to make millions. Let them come. The sky, I believe, is wide enough for birds to fly.
