Hi everyone.

This is my Curation Page for the week of January 29th - February 04th.

I will be featuring some of my best finds for new writers posting on the topic of sustainability. The tags I look for deal with earth friendly living, including intentional communities, recycling, climate, homesteading, eco-building, ecology and whatever else pop up.

The Minnow Support Project has multiple curators that pick five posts from under-valued minnows each week to highlight through MSP3k. This way MSP and PAL can promote new writers and content creators on Steemit, and in effect reward them for doing a superior job.

In my particular curation, I try to concentrate specifically on newer authors that write sound articles on a variety of interwoven topics. Hopefully I can recognise a different set of people than the other curators in order to boost recognition and appreciation of new Steemians.

The following posts are my Sustainability picks for this week:

from How do I reach the highest value of anything?

My first entry is from new Australian Steemian alkhemst, who dropped this post into my PAL sustainability channel to encourage a conversation about the concept of growth as it pertains to technology. How do I reach the highest value of anything? looks at how we might access natures potential to fuel sustainable invention, and stresses quality versus economic function.

from Offshore wind power: How does it work?

In Offshore wind power: How does it work?, author ideas-abstractas explores the advantages and disadvantages of windfarming in the sea with floating wind turbines. Considering how much electricity bitcoin mining sucks up, finding clean alternative forms of renewable energy seems a wise plan.

from Raising Kids on a Homestead!!! Benefits that we have found

I loved the down to earth Raising Kids on a Homestead!!! Benefits that we have found. bowentroyer outlines three sound healthy reasons why one should consider intentionally raising kids on a homestead. And that kid photo just made mah heart go mush!

Raising Chickens eBooks(3).jpg
from 16+ Ways To feed chickens

16+ Ways To feed chickens by walkerlandwas an eye-opener for me! I never knew that so much nutritional science was involved in a toss of feed. There's even a section on fermenting feed for healthier chooks. I'm also stoked but a bit scared to try How To Make Fire Cider Tonic! I could use this right now since I'm fighting off the flu.

from Is Regenerative Agriculture on the Fringe?

In his article Is Regenerative Agriculture on the Fringe?, agsurrection, discusses a video entitled Why are there so few profitable Permaculture Farms?, and gives his take on the eight main reasons discussed on why Permaculture farms either fail or do not get started. It's no surprise that lack of capital is a big reason. How do we change that?
