Pennsif's Sustainability Curation Digest for MSP - week ending 3 February 2019

in #minnowsupport5 years ago

Up here in the northern hemisphere the days are getting longer, and the growers are turning their thoughts to growing again.

A big bunch of great posts to chose from this week... particularly about gardening.

It will definitely be time to get out into the garden again soon.

In the meantime here is my selection of sustainability related posts of the week...

My Five Picks of the Week

Superfood Cinnamon Banana Ice Cream by @amy-goodrich

Another super yummy vegan recipe from Amy...

Growing Perennial Basil From A Cutting?? by @craigcryptoking

This looks like a nice and easy way to propogate herb plants...

Growing field peas in the home garden by @stanmr

The great luxury of growing peas is eating them fresh from the pod...

Planning To Grow Sweet Potatoes by @ppmsilver

I have struggled so far to get my sweet potatoes to any size. Wales just doesn't have the temperature...

Using Chop-and-Drop to Build Abundance on Your Homestead by @wildhomesteading

I have just starting trying out chop-and-drop. It definitely saves a lot of lugging waste matter around the garden...

And here are five more great posts that didn't quite make the cut but are still worth a read and an upvote...

The Minnow Support Project has multiple curators that pick five posts from under-valued minnows each week to highlight through MSP3k. This way MSP and PAL can promote new writers and content creators on Steemit, and in effect reward them for doing a superior job.
