Being normal in a society means acceptance. That's bullsh*t. Does that mean if we're not normal, we're not one of you? We have feelings, emotions, thoughts and we want love, just like any other human.
But I won't let them break me down to dust
I know that there's a place for us
For we are glorious
Even if you shun us away, break us apart, torture us, isolate us, we will not give up and surrender. This world is vast. I want to believe there is a place we can belong to. I want to believe we are special and this happens for a reason.
When the sharpest words wanna cut me down
I'm gonna send a flood, gonna drown them out
I am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be, this is me
Everyday, we receives daggers of stares, words sharper than swords that slashes through our hearts and dignity. But we're not going to be a victim of ourselves. We will be who we are because we are born this way. When daggers are thrown at us, we will block them. When swords are coming, we will parry them all! Nothing can bring us down.

And I'm marching on to the beat I drum
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apologies, this is me
We don't hide when we appear. We stand up, head high, chest open wide and eyes straight into your eyes, "You heed my presence!" We are not sorry when you are disgusted at us, it is your problem, not mine! "Look at us cleary, this is who we truly are and we are proud."

Let the disgust, shame, fear, annoyance from others come but they will not conquer us. They will not be able to control what we do. We will walk, overcoming all these shame and fear together, breaking down the walls in your hearts.

I am proud to be born who I am today, even though I might be defective on the outside but I am beautiful on the inside.
