Minnow Mondays - This Week’s Resteemed Newbies (A guide on how to do it, and my first #minnowmondays selections)
Today I'm going to join in and help @amariespeaks to get her awesome initiative support for both newbies and minnows alike! I will do an abbreviated form because I want to keep the post shorter and I also want to give you the background of her idea.
@amariespeaks wanted to support the newbies with her resteems but wanted to do it in a way that "rewards" the best in the class. She wants to pick out a handful of "newbies" and "minnows" and spotlight them to her followers (she's a 56 Reputation so this is quite an honor).

Don’t get discouraged if you’re not raking in the dough within your first month - or first couple of months even. Steemit is a long term investment not a get rich quick scheme. Stick with it and (keep steeming)
If you signed up within the last month (or two) and have a Rep of (40) or less then guess what? You are just who we’re looking for to highlight and resteem!

So I want to bring attention to her initiative for 2 MAJOR reasons:

Just did as well as resteemed the posts she promoted. Can you give me a shout by email moff Steemit about what's going on with the Superbowl contest please. I'm afraid I'm a bit out of the loop here in regards to what's being launched.

cool.. I like @ayingroxie! I think you both are going to keep doing good... And thank you, I appreciate the compliment but I think we are all one big team... We don't have to all have the same interests and talents, just share a goal of helping each other get on our own two fee. I think you both will be there with me as your teammate for a long time!
And because you asked (be careful ;) ) you can enter the games for #superbowlweekne and give your usual colorful answers!
At this point you power is in "doing things" things as a participant and hopefully encouraging your friends to do the same.
If you still have any free time and energy left, I think you could host your own game. I will help you how to structure it so that you don't risk any money. The reason why this is good to do is once you do it the first time, you will be able to do it with your eyes closed anytime in the future. (and while I don't want to go into long term strategy, it will be a good skill to have)
