SoS : Calendar of Steem Meetups & Events @ 13 March 2019

The Steem Meetups keep on coming.

There was the second Steem BBQ a couple of weeks back in Adelaide (@mattclarke), a second meetup in Suriname (@jeanlucsr) and also regular events in Southern California (@socalsteemit), Vienna (@manncpt / @mundharmonika) and Munich (@steem-munich).

Still to come in March there are regular meetups planned in Aachen (@detlev), Adelaide (@mattclarke) and Toronto (@steembirds). There is also an event planned in Minneapolis (@ddrfr33k) at the end of the month.

The German speaking Steem community are really moving up a gear with 5 meetups in 5 cities in 13 days...

They are also planning further events in Luzern (@relationtrip), Hamburg (@sirwinchester) and Berlin (@steemberlin).

Three of the larger events are currently running Fundition campaigns to crowdfund support....

I am sure all these projects would welcome your support on their Fundition campaigns.

If you get the chance to go to a meetup do go along. If there isn't one happening near you why not organise one - if you need help let me know.

    Hey I've been having portland meet-ups for the past year?

    And how do we get Portland on the list. It's pretty nearly weekly Sunday nights.

    Can you provide more details...

    • do the meetups have a name - or just Steem Meetup
    • are they at a fixed public venue each week?
    • are they at the same time every week?
    • do you put out any invite posts in advance each week?
    • are they open invite?

      Also got the steemitsmokeout April 20 the steemian community party! Location isn't announced but got a few epic steemians coming. Gonna be a huge 420!

        Portland steemit meet-up has loosely been the title.

        Yes I have them in the Portland waterfront. Sunday's 8-midnight. I also plan to meet up with others as they can manage.

        I try to put out notices yes with my blog bit it does get swamped. And I do invite others in Oregon to meet up too.

        Open? Yep! Gotten people on that were not aware of Steemit! And met steemians that didn't know we were meeting up!
