Let's Talk About Impartiality

Welcome back my Steemians,

As a Leo those are dangerous words, I'm starting to get a little protective of my circle so when I start to say "my" -- watch out -- the only child syndrome may come to get ya. This week starts off with some Reiki-Share and in the Reiki world that means I am sharing what I have with you free of charge. Many times we receive donations for our energy being sent out because quite honestly to be tuned in and balanced is not always an easy task. Fortunately, your Eagle Spirit has her wits about her and keeps it together.

As I mentioned during @jackdub and @makinstuff podcast show this past Saturday it takes meditation, clearing, balance, centering and grounding to be able to do this regularly. If you'd like to hear more about Reiki and your Eagle Spirit, check out the show right here. This show is bringing together like minded people that want to make our home, that is earth a better place.

Interestingly, this week we are going to discuss Impartiality, I am bringing out the Reiki Oracle deck for this reading since it's been awhile and we just had this great discussion as mentioned above with the Steemit community. Giving a Reiki session seems appropriate. When we think of impartiality many words may come to our mind. Let's look at what Merriam-Webster says here. Looking at the word impartial states:

not partial or biased : treating or affecting all equally

So, we know favoritism exists and people can be so very partial and biased in the world. We probably have all felt the effects of such treatment. The message we want to start thinking about is are we treating individuals equally on Steemit? Are we not only upvoting our friends and supporting them but as many as we possibly can? Even if we do not have a lot of Steem or Steem Power can we at least make someone's day by making a kind comment?

All of my readings are geared towards a healing; breaking through mental, spiritual, or emotional blocks that will assist us in overcoming every day obstacles.

If this is your first time swinging by, my Medicine Card Monday initiative is my positive intention to pull a card of healing or medicine for the community. This is different than tarot in that the cards I use are on the medicinal aspect of humanity other than the most common cards found in a tarot deck.

The decks I use are The Wild Unknown - Animal Spirit, Mystical Shaman Oracle, and the Chakra Wisdom Oracle. The cards will assist in helping those interested, find comfort in things going on in our community and the world we are now dealing with. Namely, issues around the world, astronomical, or overcoming health issues of all sorts, etc., maybe just something out of balance that we are feeling on any particular day that needs guidance.

By pulling a card for Steemit this will in turn assist with my Medicine training, give back to the community, and help those seeking answers. I will take some of the reading from guidebooks provided with the cards, but primarily give intuitive and medicinal words to help our community. We all have days when we need encouragement, inspiration, and comfort.

Meaning

We start with the story of Bahana Beige/7th Chakra: This is not a time to personally shine, but to allow others to come forth with their gifts. You may find yourself in the role of neutral advisor. Hold the space for others to find their own answers. Advice may not be well received. Be unbiased now.

Meditation

I quietly listen, allowing you to color your own palate.

Seventh Chakra "The Crown"

When we start to work with the Crown Chakra is enlightenment, when we meditate on this chakra it is to be open-minded and clear. The Chopra Center defines it well here:

The seventh chakra, Sahaswara, is referred to as the thousand-petal lotus chakra. This is the top chakra of the seven and located at the crown of the head. Sahaswara is our source of enlightenment and spiritual connection to all that is. It is a connection to our higher selves, to every being on the planet, and ultimately the divine energy that creates everything in the universe.

True opening of Sahaswara means the realization that you are pure awareness. You are pure consciousness, undivided, and all expansive. Like a drop in the ocean, you are a part of that ocean that contains and encompasses every aspect of it.

If you like to meditate then you will love this mediation suggestion:

While silence is the most powerful and important way to opening the seventh chakra, there are some other practices that support this chakra.

Two Pranayama breathing techniques you can do before meditation include Nadi Shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing, and Kapalabhati, or the skull shining breath.

Inverted yoga asanas such as headstand (Salamba Sirsasana) and down dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana) can help stimulate the seventh chakra, as well as any posture that brings the crown of the head to the floor such as fish pose (Matsyasana).

The color for the crown chakra is violet or white and the mantra sound is the universal sound of OM. Gems you can wear or have in your environment to help open and align the seventh chakra are amethyst, selenite, and sugilite.

If you are inexperienced in meditation or yoga please consult a professional before applying these techniques.

The Message - Impartiality

The Legend

Bahana is the wise dictator from the town of Beige. She is known for settling disputes fairly. One day, two neighbors are arguing about what color to paint their fence. Bahana gives each of them a can of paint an instructs them to paint their side of the fence the color that the other neighbor wants. She knows that when they can color their world in the love of their neighbor's eyes, they will understand and accept one another.

Inspiration

Take an impartial look at your situation. The action here is to listen and observe.

Personal Inquiry

If I step back from my present situation, what do I see? Can I be neutral?

Key Ideas

Neutral position; allowing things to unfold; standing in another's shoes; uplifting communication

Keywords

Guide, open-minded, fairness

In the midst of Steem pricing going down we see many people leaving, the platform is changing and people are preparing. In this preparation process are we being open-minded and fair or freaking out? Maybe taking our stress and anxiety out on someone else or causing unnecessary anxiety?

Let's take a step back and assess our situation. Be mindful of others, considerate in our actions, and kind in our words.

Blessing From Eagle Spirit

A'OO,

Eagle Spirit

I hope you liked the reading for this week. If so, please leave a comment below. I'd love to hear what you think (but not if you think it's all BS!) That's typical Eagle Spirit humor right there.

If you would like a personal Medicine Card reading:

Send 2 STEEM per card.

Choose a deck and spread: Animal Spirit (1, 2, 3, 4, or 13 card spread), Chakra Wisdom (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 7 card spread), or Mystical Shaman Oracle (1, 3, or 4 card spread.)

Each person is given a special one-on-one healing energy session with a reading sent from a Reiki Master Teacher (that be me), and a Native American ceremony is included.

Photos will be provided and explained. Please do not share these publicly.

You can find me on Discord under the name Eagle Spirit #4491.

Have a glorious week and come back next Monday for another Medicine Card reading!

Greetings,

Thank you for stopping by to read my blog. I’m a First Nation member of the Hopi & Apache Native American tribes, Medicine woman in-training, first time blogger since November 2017, (right here on Steemit), paralegal, researcher, and writer based in the Mountains of Colorado, USA. I work closely with fellow planktons and minnows in a few groups by helping them adjust to Steemit and curate quality content. I’m especially interested in finding others who love natural medicine originating from ancient practices, gold and silver, energy work, and the spirit world. Additionally, I'm the creator of #MedicineCardMonday, so if you are interested in receiving a Native American blessing stop by my blog every Monday, or just say hello!

See you soon, @eaglespirit

"As a Leo"

Me too.

"Even if we do not have a lot of Steem or Steem Power can we at least make someone's day by making a kind comment?"

I agree with that. I know a few people helped keep me going by giving me a little encouragement when I first started.

"Take an impartial look at your situation. The action here is to listen and observe."

I can't say that I was ever that good at meditating but I found that psychedelics aided in preforming that action too. The way in which the erode the "ego" seems to force one into a position where they have no choice but to examine the self and the world it inhabits without coloring everything through the lens that that we use to protect our view of reality and our place in it.

I had what some would call a bad mushroom trip when I was a teenager but this concept of impartial reflection was really at the root of it. It became clear that I had been lying to myself. I was telling myself that some of my behaviors were not destructive (that is a less exciting story than one might think) and feeding myself justifications for it. The mushrooms effectively washed that away and left me sitting viewing things with new clarity.

@artisticscreech leos RULE!! rawr
oh yes just a word or two and its like oh mmm geee they noticed me! :)
oh oh gettin into the psychedelics bwahahahaahhaha

Nice. These cards always seem so well-timed.
In my aikido practice we are focused on centering, which in this case means physically keeping the body centered in gravity. Interestingly, this practice also requires that you not commit to any particular trajectory, but remain open to any possible next step.

@wholeself-in awww it's so nice you are reading them and i thank you for that. hope all is well and so happy you got that curie! woot
yes, remain open but not to the negative folks or intentions. xo

Learning this on Steemit and other platforms is an artform, in the never ending ebb and flows of dramas, political and biz and social maneuvers stuff gets lost in the midst of fud and other assorted stupid crap.
I attempt to be impartial and as a Gemini , the duality comes rather easily...remaining that way,,,eeee gats, eeek, eeeep,,, nice post, makes ya use your noodle n think n stuff! :)

@battleaxe you are so funny! I love your comment and thank you so much for your encouraging words. they mean a lot. :)

Team Good Alpaca loves this post! Nomnomnomnom!

Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold

It's like you're speaking directly to me. I was having a little discussion about being direct with people and whether or not it's best to be shocked into reality or letting them come to certain realizations themselves. I preferred letting them come to the realizations and adding in some gentle lessons they can contemplate. I don't think that's being neutral but I do think it's making the situation easier to grasp and facilitate change.

wow!! thats seriously amazing and awesome!! 😮🌷

The more I think about it, I've been trying to remain neutral in a situation at work between three managers as well. They all have presented me with examples of how the other two aren't doing what they should. It's quite comical. I just keep my mouth shut and nod

you are not only witty but wise 🐾

Thanks for the show shout-out :) I can see how impartiality and open-mindness have a lot to do with eachother. The card with the evenly weighted buckets remind me of aquarius the water bearer. In the dawn of the age of aquarius - some say there is supposed to be an outpouring of knowledge with this age. The crown chakra makes me think of the halo they put on enlightened religious figures in paintings :)

@jackdub you are so welcome and its well deserved, i will try to get you out there more too. i'm sure you are doing well on your own though. people love you two!
