Who doesn't love to see what they will be selling in some foreign market, shopping in places I have never been to and some, never even heard of. There is always a curiosity attached to foreign ingredients, different produce or any product sold. So, yes! I would love to see yours! Sue me!! I went and looked at Christmas ornaments this week! I couldn't help myself! I was walking through a store and bam! There they were! I could hear their voices, just like sirens calling out to me. I am already dreaming of my tree, ornaments adorning its branches, the old with the new, the classy, the cheesy, the homemade.

And then there was this one and its friends.

So, today is #MarketFriday, and it is getting close to my time of the year. Christmas. I know. I know. It's a little bit early, but, Thanksgiving is only 6 days 3 hours and 12:40 seconds left before it becomes official to hang my Christmas cheer everywhere.

There were literally rows and rows of different garland when a string of popcorn just won't do. But, who doesn't love to string popcorn and cranberries? They really do make the most beautiful tree in the world. If you have never done it, you need to try it! You won't be disappointed! I promise!

There were dingle balls, which, I have to admit, I have trouble picturing them on my tree, but, they have a place somewhere, otherwise they wouldn't sell them. Right? I have to believe that. But, did they have to put them alongside the classically glittered garland. I restrain myself. There is so much to see and I cannot take it all home with me.

The more whimsical that will be the center of attraction on some little kids tree.

I am actually walking between four different stores and perhaps someone can explain to me why they are all having their Christmas decorations on sale before Thanksgiving? Isn't that verboten somehow? Once upon a time, Black Friday was the day after Thanksgiving, now it is whenever they feel like having a sale, it is called a Black Friday sale.

They have florists that will make you a beautiful arrangement for you or you can select one that has already been premade.

There were these most amazing wooden soldiers, all 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall! They were very impressive when you stood aside of them. They weren't as well made as I would have liked and they were a tad overpriced. Even at their 50% off price tag!

If the big soldiers weren't in your plan, perhaps you might be interested in one of his baby brothers? I can't believe they advertise them as collectible!? I am sure that they are collectible to someone!

Okay... I gave in and bought this little headband. It is fun to wear if you are serving dinner at a community food kitchen. Yeah... Don't judge. It actually looks ... um... Christmassy. LOL

Then there were wreaths that their floral department made up. In actuality, they were a great price, so good, it was like stealing it! I got none, but, I may go back and get one tomorrow. I use the wreaths to decorate. Now, it may sound silly to you, but, I get a wreath hanger and hang wreaths on every (indoor) door in my house. Hall closet, bathroom, laundry room, bedrooms... You get the picture. So, it takes about one minute each door and voila! You have instant holiday cheer with the doors decorated.

Would it really be Christmas without Santa??

Or a stocking to hang by the chimney with care? In hopes that St. Nicholas soon will be there?? Or a sleigh to put him in??? Guarded by his 7 Foot Soldier?

It is with much appreciation as I know how long it takes to hunt and gather photos and the information to put your post together. I just love that it has become a world-wide event! You just never know where in the world they will be coming from!

Somebody wanted to know what I did with the pinecones I collected the other day. This is it, well, so far anyway. Paint them and use them to decorated packages, put in bowls for decorating, among other things. The possibilities are endless!
