THE MANDELA EFFECT IS REAL! AND HERE IS REAL PROOF.

Have you heard about The Mandela Effect? If you haven't I suggest you start researching. Apparently, large numbers of people have begun to notice small changes in world history. The Mandela Effect got its name from the first widely noticed "memory" that people started to recall that did not line up with established history. History records the Anti-apartheid revolutionary Nelson Mandela dying in 1999 after serving as South Africa's first black head of state. But large numbers of people vividly remember him dying in a South African prison. These people can recall TV specials in his honor, watching his funeral on TV etc. But acording to history none of that happened!

Since the announcement of this phenomena hundreds of other small changes to how people remember things and events have been noted and left a growing number of scratching their heads, certain that they remember these things and events accurates and that "something" is wrong with the way the world or that something/someone is altering history. I am not sure if this is some kind of mass psychosis or if indeed something has changed with respect to our world, but there are two compelling instances that have left me personally wondering if there is something to this.

The first comes from Disney's "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." In the story the evil witch gazes into her magic mirror and says "Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all" AT LEAST THAT IS HOW I AND MILLIONS OF OTHER PEOPLE REMEMBER IT. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT ACCORDING TO HISTORY IT NEVER HAPPENED. Words were spoken, but the iconic "Mirror, Mirror..." was/is "Magic mirror." I was almost certain that the line began "Mirror, mirror" so instead of looking for primary source materials which all seem to claim that I have a false memory, I began to look for secondary sources and what I found was compelling. Consider in the Sitcom "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" the character of Will parodies the iconic line from Snow White and he clearly says "Mirror, mirror on the wall."

In addition to that, there is a Julia Roberts film parody of the Snow White tale called "Mirror, mirror" made in 2012!

Now, I ask you DOES HOLLYWOOD HAVE A FALSE MEMORY AS WELL? DID WE ALL JUST CHANGE THE LINE AND RUN WITH IT AND NO ONE NOTICED UNTIL NOW?

I must admit, even with the Mirror mirror example I was still firmly in denial, but then there were some other changes and this sent a very real chill up my spine... They involved the King James Bible and some small changes to some of the more iconic passages. I am not the most religious person, but I was raised Catholic and I had attended Sunday School and in order graduate there were some prayers and passages we had to memorize by heart and recite on command word for word. Now some of these passages have been changed! These were things I have had to say hundreds upon hundreds of times. These are passages that are repeated in Churches all over the world!!!

The first is Isaiah 11:6. Now, I remember that passage as reading "And the Lion shall lay down with the lamb" so do millions of others. Now, the passage begins the "And the WOLF shall lay down with the lamb." Now, I admit here that this may be as some psychologists claim a meshing of two memories on our part and I would be content to leave it at that, except for this is not the only passage in question.

The one that REALLY gave me the creeps is a small "change" made to THE LORD'S PRAYER otherwise known as the "Our Father." As a Catholic I had to know this prayer PERFECTLY. In fact, when I would confess my sins to the priest, saying the Our Father X number of times was a part of our penance to God. I have said and heard it said hundreds of times as a child and and adult. I recall it going as follows:

"Our Father, who are in heaven hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done ON earth as it is in heaven..."

NOW APPARENTLY THE PRAYER NEVER WENT LIKE THAT. OPEN ANY KJV BIBLE AND IT NOW READS "... Thy will be done IN earth as it is in heaven." O.O

It is a small change, but this would mean EVERY RELIGIOUS PERSON I KNOW, FROM NUNS TO PRIESTS TO YOUR EVERYDAY HOLY ROLLER WAS SAYING THE MOST IMPORTANT PRAYER IN ALL OF CHRISTIANITY INCORRECTLY ALL THESE YEARS?!!! REALLY?????

Not only do I have to believe that I and basically every other Christian/Catholic got this prayer wrong but also that THE MAJOR MOTION PICTURE IN ONE OF ITS MOST IMPORTANT AND ICONIC SCENES GOT IT WRONG AS WELL! JUST LOOK AT THIS CLIP FROM THE FILM "JESUS OF NAZARETH"

I dont know, I am starting to think something strange (WHATEVER IT IS) is going on here.
