Looking up - Hudson Yards

When I did a recent visit to Hudson yards I had to get some shots for the looking up challenge that has been started by @melinda010100 and @pixelfan

When I have visited the Highline and this area over the last few years I have seen the construction of many highrises in this area, Some are now completed and open and its a great spot for looking up.
I must head back there soon with a wider angle lens but I still got a couple of shots to share.

The Hudson Yard area has transformed from a rough train/commercial area into a popular residential area with so much constructions going on Highrises going up everywhere.

The estimated cost for all the construction in this area is $18Billion

And another shot in the same area, there are some cool and fancy looking buildings in this area, the brassy colored structure in the bottom of the image is a structure called the Vessel and it was that I went to see on this visit as it has just opened, but I will talk about that more in another post.

unless stated otherwise all photos used in my posts are taken and owned by myself, if you wish to use any of my images please contact me.

Cool shots with supercool perspective 😀 In the first photo, the buildings look like the missiles ready to be launched. And, that vessel in the second photo appears to be an alien structure.

Looking at it again I see what you mean about them looking like missiles I had not seen that before

Thanks looking up like this can for sure make ones neck hurt

Wow... $18Billion is a lot of money, but hopefully, it was utilized to not only make these structures look also, but also safe. Just viewing your photos gave me vertigo! I would love to see some of these with your new camera lens; as @kaminchan mentioned, that second photo's brown building does indeed look interesting... I wonder what that is?

I'm betting that @melinda010100 and @pixelfan were quite happy to see this being presented in regards to their #lookingup challenge... great pictures my friend!! Thanks for taking us along to see Hudson Yard...

its a huge development I guess in the scale of NYC 18 Billion isnt that huge LOL that brass structure i will feature in a post soon
