A student today can move through the Western university conveniently and with little cost. High school can be completely avoided through testing. It makes little sense to waste time in high school or for that matter tax dollars on the public indoctrination system masquerading as education. The smartest thing a student can do is quit high school as early as possible or better yet never go in the first place. The student should focus entirely on getting a
GED. Don't listen to the propaganda. Dropping out of high school is the smartest thing anyone can do besides never going at all.
A GED diploma is awarded upon completion of a GED test. The test is administered in English in numerous countries around the world. The GED can also replace TOEFL and IELTS and requires no speaking. A GED certificate demonstrates that the student has completed exactly the same educational requirements as an American or European high school student. A 16 year old passing a GED test can immediately begin applying for universities. This saves years of time as well as shields the student from dangerous elements of the public indoctrination system which has become little more than a halfway house for children. Public education at the high school level is neither necessary nor safe as the social environment breeds criminals as well as dumbed down sheep who are to be later fleeced by the bankers' tax system.
The educational cartels of today rely on accreditation as a form of licensing by which universities can command high prices and students can receive a relatively selective degree or certification. Accredited universities typically require a high school diploma or GED as well as completion of an SAT test. So only two tests stand in the way of an aspiring university student not four years of dumbed down public high school. Even a monkey could graduate high school by taking remedial classes in the US while higher level classes are reserved for students who need to be convinced that they are actually receiving an education rather than being system programmed in the bankers' matrix.

Choosing a university is often a difficult task for a student. However, the smart student who wants to avoid unnecessary costs and student dormitories can focus only on online degrees. Many high ranking universities offer on-line classes for a variety of majors. If education is actually education rather than a babysitter to watch (and brainwash) students while their parents work then of course the traditional way is better. But for a real student who only wants education and does not care about the rituals of sports, graduation, and proms, this method is the most affordable and convenient way. Furthermore, an on-line student can live anywhere in the world and may never actually visit the university campus from which they earn their degree.
As if staying at home were actually a choice, many students are forced to stay at home due to the bankers' fiat inflation moving into areas such as health care and education.

A student studying online should be able to manage a regular schedule and be able to have good study habits. Any student able to pass a GED and get a decent SAT score without the help of a four year indoctrination camp known as high school should have no problem with this.

Students should choose a bachelor degree with some market value. Women's studies, English, history, sociology, or anthropology are weak unless one plans to pursue a PHD in the field and needs these subjects as a prerequisite. It is much better to obtain a bachelor degree that has instant market value upon graduation. This would involve some technical knowledge rather than an ability to regurgitate "facts" and write opinionated essays which do little to strengthen ones skills in a modern economy.
A strong bachelor degree (technical, financial, software related, etc.) can ensure that the student will find a job while working on their on-line master degree. Assuming that their grades are high enough, the student has now accumulated enough street cred to apply for a master degree in a prestigious university. On-line degrees are much cheaper than traditional degrees but are exactly the same. There is no difference and the on-line degrees are actually better because a student has time to gain experience while earning their degree. There is still a way for a student to work their way through school.
To Pay or not to Pay
Students in Western countries often qualify for loans and scholarships. Interest on loans student loans is so low that a working student can probably save and invest their cash while earning a higher rate of return than that which is accumulated on the loan. Furthermore, student loans offer a wide variety of payment options such as income based repayment or no payment if the student cannot find a job. It may never be necessary to find a job if someone becomes familiar with crytpocurrency and leaves the bankers' system entirely earning just enough fiat currency to cover basic survival but building real wealth in crypto and precious metals.
Besides, in the next crash, if you can hang on long enough, most Western currencies will become completely worthless regardless of how high the interest rate goes. Hang on and watch your debt disappear just like a million zimbabwe dollar credit card debt. Maybe one bitcoin pays for your entire student loan in ten years.

The game is rigged against anyone trying to scrape by in a Western university by attending classes, paying for transportation, and paying full tuition that includes sports facilities which are useless. If you like sports then you pay for it. Make them get the revenue from ticket sales rather than taxing students through tuition. Nevertheless, on-line classes offer deeply discounted tuition and often a seperate student fee. There is just no sense in physically going to school just like there is no sense in physically watching a movie that could be downloaded. Admittedly, school offers a social environment where people can make friends but so do on-line classes. If you seek social acceptance pay for a yoga class or hang in the club on the weekends. It will be much cheaper and less taxing on time than going to a physical school and being fleeced.
