"Zootopia" - The world will not treat your dreams tenderly
"Zootopia" is one of the movies that I watched a few years ago, and until recently, I had the chance to rewatch it again, giving me some idea on what to write. The rewatch changed the center of my thought.
A few years ago, just after watching the film, there is a saying in my mind, "may every dream be gentle with the world." Movies are often beautiful, especially animated movies. Judy grew from a weak rabbit to a brilliant police officer, holding on to her dreams and realizing her dream, even if she flinched, there was hesitation, but her inner dream never wavered.
Perhaps every person who is walking on the road to dream, after seeing this film, might touch you, or perhaps me at that time, very much need a motivation that can give me the courage and strength to continue.
When Judy realized her dream, at that time, I wish that the world will be gentle to everyone's dream. Like this rabbit, in a city full of infinite possibilities, able to achieve her dream.
A few years later today, after I watched this film once again, I decided to write, but I also no longer want to write about that beautiful wish.
The world will not be gentle to your dreams, no one will, even if your dream is great, even if you want to save the world. You are the only person who will be kind to your dream.
Some people say that the world is unfair, it is not the world that is unfair, it is the human heart. The world is fair to everyone, you think you put in a lot of effort and you still don't get what you want, it's because someone had work harder than you.
What you see is unfair, it is just a phenomenon, and even some people feel that it is a common phenomenon, but the fact is that the world is fair, unfair is only the human heart.
Waiting for the world to be gentle to you, that is not called a dream, it is called dreaming. Judy does not realize her dream by the miracle of the existence of Zootopia, even if Zootopia has more miracles and possibilities, with the dream of changing the world, she can only do be a traffic warden.
No one will be gentle to her dream, whether on the stage during her childhood, in the police school, or in her post, there is always someone telling her how far away and ridiculous her dream is. Probably like most people, like Fox Nick, his big dream was shattered. After packing up the broken dream, putting in the bottom of his heart, no longer willing to mention it.
As the world's bumps continue to deform, adapt to the world, not necessarily become what’s the world needs, not necessarily become the person they like, but become a person who can survive in this world, submerged in the crowd.
Thanks to Judy, perhaps the dream, which had long been wrapped up, would not have sprouted again in his heart, yet not every Nick could have come across Judy, who could awaken his dreams.
Dreams are yours. If you don’t protect them, who else can you count on? All you see is an understatement of the small goal of earning 100 million first; you only see someone shine on the TV screen; you only see someone travel around for the business.
What you don't see is how many people sleep on the couch in the office during their start-up; you don't see them waiting for a scene late into the night; you don't see how many phone calls they made for their careers.
You might say you understand all these. But if you really understand, since you have a dream, please do it. My friend said that her grandfather started a factory when he was 60 years old, and that "Man's will does not depend on the number of his age" was seen by you as a cliché, as a motivation story, just because you didn't achieve it.
Just because I read a lot of inspirational stories, read a lot of other people's success stories, I finally understand that other people's stories are only other people's stories after all.
If you really understand the meaning behind those stories, then it had done its role, you no longer have to continue reading. If you just read and say, "I know all the truth" or "They're really good," then no matter how many motivation stories you read, it will just like reading a storybook.
If you still have a dream, then please treat yourself tenderly.
The world will not be gentle to your dream, the world gentle treatment is only for those people who protect their dreams.
