This is Where People Write Titles (Warning: Foul Language, Run Away)

So Now What

Hidden Gem!
I fucking love watching these people have public meltdowns. One dude just got flag smacked eighty-eight fucking times! Can you believe that shit? I read the post. It's days like this I'm glad I don't auto vote.
Dude, if you're reading this, you know who you are. I know who you are. I hope you can appreciate my honesty here.
You done fucked up, Son!
That's about all I can really say about that one.
I saw another episode a few days ago.
Something about someone not thinking something was cool. Vague enough for you?
Arguments! Flags!
I think that character even got "unfollowed" which is the equivalent of Facebook divorce.
I don't like you and your views so I'm not going to be your friend anymore!
Deleted!
Come on people! Maintain your composure! Stop fucking swearing and yelling, dammit!
This is why I mind my own business. I don't mix well with angry people on the verge of their next meltdown. I prefer the simple life and control freaks bother me.
I come here, I hit post. I wow people with my weirdness. I make them laugh. I creep them out sometimes. It's all in good fun. I enjoy it, I really do. Then to ice the cake, I'm constantly producing tripped out art... and I'm not even high. Then I share them here so everyone can have an eye feast.
Sure, I have my grievances. I try my best to handle my business professionally though.
Alas
There was a time when I was attacked by the flag police. I think it was for fucking swearing. I'm going to start a new tradition.
Any time I see the flagging and arguing getting out of hand like it has been this past little while, I'll bring out my fun words. A protest, of sorts.
I'm seeing people get attacked for having opinions or making shrewd accusations. I've witnessed many more incidents of flag abuse in the past as well. You poor things. I got put in my place for being a comedian. Yes, you heard your reading voice within your mind correctly. It didn't stop me though!
Story Time!
First I wrote, How to Fuck: Fucking Lessons for Beginners. Open the links in a new tab, if you're curious. What a great time that was. It created a bit of a stir though. You see, when people can't take a joke or don't get the joke, they become frazzled.
Have you ever been to a comedy show? Ever see how a comedian handles a heckler? Funny people are funny up until you piss them off, then they simply make an example out of you if you cross the line. The hecklers never win. The comedian doesn't politely ask them to leave either. The heckler takes a verbal ass kicking, then gets thrown out while the audience laughs and cheers.
So I got flagged for no reason at all. I wasn't sharing an opinion or arguing with the locals or telling anyone how to dress or what kind of laptop to use... I was just being funny. I see such a big difference between getting up in people's faces and pissing them off versus telling a joke with excessive swears.
Flagged, but people came to the rescue. My reputation back then was 59. I came out of there with a 60. Chalk one up for the comedian.
Flagged, but I decided to write a couple of articles about the situation. The Freedom Speech Fucks the Censor: Again and To Whom it May Concern with a Hint of Everyone Else, both fantastic reads by the way. Combined rewards, about $30 split with the curators. Chalk two more up for the comedian!
Flagged, but I decided to take it one step further. Don't Swear, They Said. Keep it Clean, They Said. Well That Can Go Fuck Itself. (~Mature~ Reader Discretion Advised). That was by far some of the most fun I've ever had here. I took it upon myself to explain what a certain form of humor actually is, all while using that specific formula of haha to get the point across. Again, myself and the curators shared nearly $30. Chalk one more up there on the board please!
I've been paying attention to the view counter lately. Each article mentioned here has been getting hits. That part is beyond my control. Total views equal about 185 as of this writing. Those aren't even the popular ones. Three other humorous stories of mine from back in the day have received well over six hundred views. Chalk another one up for the comedian and why not Steemit as well. That's a lot of free advertising.

In Closing
Yeah, usually I'd say something like fix the flagging problem. That's too simple though. This time, I'll say leave the fucking thing there and abuse the living fuck out of it. At least now everyone will listen to me.
I haven't received any flags since that fateful day that helped me break out onto the scene here (chalk one more up!). I wouldn't say I'm holding back, but in a way, those flags are intimidating. I've been reluctant to write another episode of Haffanower due to the subject matter. It's a strange feeling. I can turn on the television and watch something like Family Guy or Southpark and enjoy the humor. I come here and attempt to use the same form of humor and some view me as a lesser human being.
They can do it on TV, but I can't do it on an uncensored multimedia platform? I look around and see so much flag abuse. Do I dare even take the chance these days?
Good luck!
While this place implodes all around me. I'll be here. Making people laugh. Showing off some art. That's the life for me. If there's any advice I can give, be respectful. It's very apparent to anyone paying attention. Some are getting flagged for attitude problems and some are flagging because they have attitude problems. It goes both ways and both ways are harming this community. A community that is branching off into different sects these days.
For the most part, I walk alone. It's safer this way. I'm confident I'll find success here regardless of what everyone else does to themselves or the platform.

Years ago, the TV discovered that if they put "viewer discretion advised" at the beginning of a program, it was like gold-- everyone had to watch to see how naughty it was going to be.
I've never tried it. There's probably a new name for that nowadays; 'click-bait' they would call it. And if the material isn't naughty enough to justify the warning? Flag.
So I should remove the warning so I don't get flagged for not being offensive enough? Sounds legit! I don't always use certain words. I hope that title isn't considered click bait. Humor was the intention. I have a bad habit of trying to be funny. I put the warning there out of respect for a few followers who don't like the words. Didn't want to offend anyone with a few innocent quips.
Cigarette packages in Canada. You should see the click bait on those. I totally get what you mean. It's reverse psychology in a sense.
I've noticed something strange. Profanity gets views and votes, but rarely the big bucks. It's true though. The flag issues aren't exactly helping me tap into a massive market where being politically correct only matter to politicians. Youtube gets away with a lot, those people have huge followings for acting crazy. The stuff I'd like to feel comfortable writing sells out stadiums, I say that all the time because it's true. Even the television seems to have more freedom at times. They put their warning up and watch the views roll in.
I'm hardly ever serious, which became noticeable when comedy started being attacked. I'm glad you got my 'not offensive enough, FLAG HIM' bit, I guessed correctly that this was a 'safe zone' for my humor attempts! I never liked that I was supposed to put a lol or a :) after every gag on the internet.
*disclaimer: The words you are now reading are humorous.
I'm reluctant at times to even use the funny or humor tags because that takes away some of the mystery. "Was he being funny or is he serious?" "What, the hell, did I just read?"
Not one freaking comment! 😎 Fuckit!😂
I thought I'd hide this little message in between the chaos that was New Year's and the hangovers. I'm surprised anyone read it let alone comment. Thanks put putting words here!
That's a fucking awesome rant!
A very calm rant. ...and look! Nobody got hurt and I wasn't flagged away. It's good to get things off of your chest from time to time. It helps me concentrate! Thanks for enjoying that thing I wrote!
Steemit is an interesting environment to explore and experience. :-) Exploring the 'new' posts always turns up some crazy stuff.
I'm always quietly reading. I see a lot when I'm lurking in the shadows. Learning a lot as well. Studying these specimens is a fine hobby. People will be people, there's no way around that.

OK, you are seriously funny!
Or is it funnily serious?
