I rarely fall in love with a shop to the point where I purchase multiple products on multiple occasions. It is a testament to how quickly I fell in love Lenora Organics that I chose to visit once more.
In my third product review, I ordered the Orange & Lavender Dry Shampoo that immediately earned my favor. This time however I indulged in something much more decadent - an Organic Cocoa Lotion Bar!
Sadly, they no longer carry the pure cocoa lotion bars. But don’t worry because they now offer an amazing alternative - Organic Cocoa and Mint Lotion Bars!
Once again, I chose to purchase from this store in particular because they are a small business located in the state of Wisconsin - my home state. I am continuing to purchase “locally” by at least containing my consumerism within the state. I’m very excited to continue supporting small businesses, especially ones that I have ordered from previously and really admire.
They also use natural and organic ingredients with NO preservatives, dyes, chemicals, or animal testing. The basic ingredients of the 2 oz. lotion bar includes:
- Beeswax*
- Fair trade Cocoa Butter*
- Shea Butter*
- Coconut Oil*
- Peppermint Oil*
- Vitamin E
*Certified organic
The scent is absolutely mouthwatering - a rich and warm chocolate dessert. I can’t wait to purchase one with mint to smell the crisp and fresh zing that it adds!
The lotion is a firm solid that leaves a thin layer on your skin when applied. After a gentle massage, it soaks right in and leaves your skin smooth without being sticky! Every time a breeze tickled my skin, a caught the decadent scent of chocolate.
The lotion bar costs $11.00 which is on the higher end of my beauty budget once again, but it has lasted much longer than other brands since it is a solid bar!
Like I stated last time, the shop owner Jennifer donates a percentage of her profits each month to her local Humane Society!
Overall, I Lenora Organics’ Organic Cocoa & Mint Lotion Bar a 5 star rating and excellent review!
