The Irony Of Blaming Society For Everything Wrong In The World

It seems like blaming the modern day society is all what people do these days. Doesn't matter where you go, you will find people who keep cursing out on everyone else for not being absolutely perfect at literally anything.

These people will find the smallest and most ridiculous of reasons to shame the very society that they live in and are a part of. The other day, I posted a little status where I discussed the same. It read:

Isn't it funny how we all shame and blame the modern day society for everything wrong in our world without realizing that we are actually a part of it as well?

I got a really mixed response after posting the above status. Some agreed, some disagreed, and some even tried to convince me to change my opinion. But if you really look at the current situations, you'll realize how much of it is actually true.

You Are The Very Society You Are Blaming.

Think about it. Your opinions, choices, ideals, and visions may be exceptionally different and unique, but your actions are just as significant as everyone else's. It's no surprise why many people only term themselves as a part of society when they're being praised and not when they're looked down upon.

Mostly, it's because we don't like to take responsibility for our own actions but instead lecture other people about doing the same. We would rather sit in our comfy chairs and watch other people work while we're criticizing their efforts and the work they're doing.

The stereotypical thinking that it's always the society's fault is beyond absurd. If you want to make a change, you have to begin with yourself. Cliché, I know, but it's true. Instead of blaming the people around you for every little problem, why not try being the solution that you are looking for?

Change Comes From Will, Not Excuses.

"Why should I do it if everyone else isn't?"

Sounds familiar? I'm sure you guys have heard this excuse at least once in your life. The irony here is, the same people who say these excuses, bitch about the problem that they are not willing to contribute for a solution.

Everyone expects others to show initiative but in the end, no one actually does believing that eventually somebody will, leaving the problem as it is. People don't care about solving an issue unless they see somebody else getting recognition for doing the same.

Let's be honest, most people are like that. But this is the part where you can be the inspiration that other people are lacking. Instead of waiting for someone else to take the lead, why not do it yourself? Why not become the role-model that you were waiting to see in the first place?

Exactly! It's on us to own up to our responsibilities instead of expecting people to make everything right.
