Hamnoy
Hamnøy is a small fishing village in the municipality of Moskenes -Nordland in Norway, in Lofoten. It is located on the east side of Moskenesøya, about 1.5 km northeast of Reine, along the Vestfjord. Hamnøy was previously connected to Reine by ferry, but the ferry crossing was replaced by bridges and thanks to that it was included in the main European route - the Lofoten Mainland Connection.
It's a beautiful place but unfortunately people are escaping from there. Hamnøy lives mainly on tourism, and the whole village is one big rorbuer. Cottages are adapted to every season, because winter in Lofoten is as attractive as summer due to the Aurora which is a common phenomenon in the north of Norway.
Stockfish is a dried fish that is a world-class delicacy and an important part of Norwegian cultural heritage. The climate in northern Norway is ideal for creating stockfish - with temperatures around 0 ° C and the right balance between wind, sun and rain.
It is dried in such constructions!!!
That's why I recommend photographic workshops with my friend @photovisions for interesting trips, if I had the time I would go again where time goes slower !!!

Your photos are stunning! I keep hearing about Lofoten and the photos that I've seen so far were not disappointing. It's so nice of you that you're promoting @photovisions. If it wouldn't be that far away I would have joined him. He is a great photographer and I'm sure it must be a pleasure to learn from him.

This is not about promoting but more about the support of my friend @photovisions, he is a good friend and lives only 15 minutes by car from me. not once we went together in the open air, which showed us that we have a completely different workshop. Standing next to each other and framing the same object - our arrows would be different 📷👍

Wow that village is absolutely stunning! Your photos really draw out the beauty of the landscape surrounding the village.
It's also rather sad people are escaping from a beautiful place like that, but it makes sense, young folk are drawn to cities, where there are more opportunities, more fun and life.
