약사 유리광 칠불 본원 공덕경

이에 부처님께서는 문수사리를 칭찬하여 말씀하셨다
훌륭하고 훌륭하다.
이는 우리의 위신력 때문에 그대로 하여금 중생을 불쌍히
여기어 모든 고난을 극복할 신주(神呪)를 설하여 줄 것을
청하도록 한 것이니 그대는 자세히 듣고 잘 생각하라
우리가 이제 마땅히 설하여 주겠노라.

문수사리여, 위대한 신주가 있어
그 이름을 여래정력유리광(如來定力留璃光)이라 하나니
누구나 이를 베끼고, 독송하고, 공경하며
모든 중생에게, 불쌍히 여기는 마음을 일으킨다면
그 소원이 모두 만족하게 이루어지고
여러 부처님이 몸을 나투어 호념하시며
온갖 업장과번뇌를 여의고
반드시 부처님 세계에 태어나게 되느니라.
그때 칠불 여래 부처님은 바로 같은 음성으로 신주를 설하셨다.(8-32)

So the Buddha praised the monk and said
"Excellent, excellent.
It is because of our prestige that we are able to make him pity sentient beings
to take pity on sentient beings and offer them a deity that will overcome all suffering.
so you should listen carefully and think well.
We will now tell you what is due.

"There is a great deity, Munsuri.
and his name is called the Pure Land of Steadfastness.
Everyone copies it, recites it, honors it.
and arouse compassion in all sentient beings.
then all their wishes will be fulfilled.
Buddhas of all kinds will appear in their bodies and offer their support.
All sorts of karma and suffering
and be born in the Buddha world.
At that time the Blessed One spoke in the same voice.(8-32)
