KillerPix: Aquidaban on Rio Paraguay

This boat is the Aquidaban that I travelled on for four days in Paraguay in 2015. Since it is the only connection for many small villages along Rio Paraguay, it transports everything from people over building materials and beer to living animals.

      Wow! This is great. So many times pictures pass messages that a million write up can not do. This picture and what you said here simply tell me about the problem of transportation solved and the needs of people met.

        I guess it is the best solution there is :) Some years ago, the boat was broken and the roads in the area flooded, so for a couple of weeks the people in some of the remote communities were completely isolated from the rest of the world..
