Things rarely go according to the plan :)
計画通りに行くことは珍しいです＾＾；
Sometimes they surprise you and go better. As is the case with this particular painting.
この絵の場合は計画より出来が良かったと思います。
It started out as a 20 x 20 sketch I did one night at home.
ある夜に２０センチくらいのスケッチを描いて、そのままキャンバスにうまく描けると思いました。
I thought it would translate well on the canvas.
油絵にしても面白く見えると。。。
But the idea turned out to be better on paper. It lost something in the process. Frustrated I decided to do something about the structure in the middle and it just exploded :)
が、紙の上に面白く見えたアイディアがキャンバスに移ったときに何かを失った。なんとか絵を無駄にしたくなかったです。そして、真ん中にある像を壊そうとしたら、
像が爆発しました＾＾；it just exploded!
I'm really happy it didn't go as planned :)
計画通りに行かなくて良かったと思う今日この頃です＾＿＾

Thank you :) Best work I've done is a fail most of the time too. I heard about some kind of a market but didn't know there was one just for art.
I don't know about the contest tho, I already gave this painting away as a birthday present. Unless they don't care about such things.

Yes it does and when we're not stressing too much we can actually see that everything happens for a reason.

はい~ I think there's nothing wrong with that, because sometimes the best things/experiences are those that we didn't really plan :)
that's true :) i guess sometimes we can't imagine something could go any other way and then it does.
